Our Reading Challenge for February is to read a book by a black American author in honor of Black History Month. A perfect book to read would be Good Lord Bird by James McBride, which recently won the National Book Award. Other great choices would be:https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/3....

“The Warmth of Other Suns” by Isabel Wilkerson was very good.

Sorry I didn't see this until now! That would be a great book for the History Book Group to discuss.They meet at the library the third Thursday of each month at 2 p.m.. I'll pass this title along to Niles, the moderator. I know this book got great reviews - thanks for the recommendation!
