wow cool categories. I thought I read all genres. I never read a space opera or I do not think I read a gothic book perse. I read gothic comic books! I will check out the polls because I have an A-Z challenge, well I have two. One is ones I picked plus ones my friends picked. The second is all my readers of my blog picks, authors that are my friends picked and my other friends. I only have D,E, G, L, R, S, T so far so maybe someone can help me out.
Is there anywhere that has links to the books that are accessible before you vote? Right now, you have to pick one for the links to be available.
At the bottom of the polls it says on the right had corner there is a link to the book covers so you can read the summaries before choosing.
Fabulous choices, especially the Gothic category. I've read quite a few of these, but may consider a re-read if the chosen books are ones I haven't read in a while.
I voted, but if the three that are in the lead (and by a large margin!) stay that way, I'll have to do a re-read to get that 20 points.

If you haven't voted for the Spring 2014 Group Reads, yet, don't forget that the polls close Friday at the end of the Goodreads day! To vote, navigate to the polls on the right of the group home page or click here: Polls
The Spring Group Reads have been chosen!Space Opera -- Dune by Frank Herbert
Gothic -- The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield
Classic Sci-Fi -- Brave New World by Aldous Huxley
I loved "Brave New World" hope you guys enjoy reading it and i am DEFINITELY looking forward to reading "DUNE"!!:)
I think this is the first time i'm not even mildly intrigued by one of the GR's...I guess i'm going to go with BNW since its on my classics challenge
I'm going with a re-read of Dune which is a book I loved! I have read the other two fairly recently.
Oh dear....I'll need a recommendation I think. This task will defintely be difficult for me. Brave New World is the shortest, so I may go with that.

All three books have been on my TBR for ages. I'm having a hard time choosing! Right now I'm planning on going with Brave New World, but who knows. Maybe I'll just read them all. ;)

I re-read it a couple years ago - it's always interesting to re-read stuff I read in high school or college and see what I think of it now. I think I liked it even better this time. Same thing with Dune, actually - I read it long, long ago, then re-read it a few years ago, and thought it definitely stood the test of time.
