I finished it and I think it is pretty good sequel of original fairytale though we are so used of the magical world of these stories it feels little out worldly when modern stuff like jeans and jeeps are added while dragon is still flying over ahead just have a problem picturing it right. otherwise it is a good read.
I just finished reading this book and I have to say I wasn't overly impressed. I felt like nothing really happened in this book and Rapunzel just accepts everything that happens to her. I think the description of the book is very misleading about what actually happens in the book.
I finished this book and I personally thought it was pretty good. It gives you a new take on an old fairy tale. However I sort of thought that Rapunzel was really naive to the point where it got kind of ridiculous. I mean I guess she was supposed to be right? But, what? It's been like three centuries and I sort of expected her to be just a bit more wise I guess. Overall though it was a pretty good book.
I'm having the hardest time getting into this book. All the pining over that boy from ages ago, barf! I flew through Grave Mercy and Gone this month, but Rapunzel is slowing me down.
Alana, I had the same sort of trouble with this book. Normally I fly through books, reading them in as few of sittings as possible. Not this. I started this well over a month ago and could just never get in to it. I wanted to like it a lot more than I actually did. The repetitiveness of certain parts of the story drove me bonkers. I think it's a decent beginning to a story, however to be a good story it still needs more editing, drafts, and revisions.
