Jcwillis53 Brown (southerncomfortauthor) | 51 comments wow, I just used the link to read about your book. I was married to a Vietnam Era Marine for 17 years. We got married within 2 years of his return from Nam. He has finally been diagnosed with PTS and is on med's for that. We also had a still born son and that has been directly linked to agent orange exposure which he also had. Life was always difficult with him and he could "turn on a dime" become angry/even violent. I wish there was a decompression unit for Marines to give them the time to reaccess the world and what it means to be an ex-Marine and not bring the violence with them when they leave the unit. If you are sent to war going as a Marine will most likely save your life because they are the best trained to survive. and yes...Once a Marine always a Marine! Joyce

Dianne Sagan (diannes) I checked out your link about your book, Steve. What an insight to how returning Marines feel and what they go through.

The transition into civvy street is by no means easy. I certainly had my fair share of difficulties but thankfully I came through in the end.
