It kiiiiiiiiilled me. It was beautiful, but so sad.

May (theladymidnight) I just finished the book a few minutes ago and I'm speechless. I found Looking for Alaska to be much more emotional than The Fault in Our Stars.

The book was unbelievably sad! Especially since I'm left with a bunch of unanswered questions! I really want to know what happened that night and whether Alaska's death was an accident or not.

I know, right? That drives me nuts still...

And you're so right, it's a lot more moving than TFIOS- which was really sad, but not AS sad as thisa. They should make a movie for Looking For Alaska, it would be so incredible.

Niamh | 1 comments I did not enjoy it as much as TFIOS AS I found the big event (not giving away spoilers ;) ) to be quite rushed and sudden, none the less I enjoyed the book immensely :)

That would be cool if they had a movie for Looking for Alaska!

And I can't wait to watch TFIOS in theaters!

Ashley Green (amgreen3196) | 2 comments I think that someone should write John Green to make it a movie. I bet it would do so much better than TFIOS and I really like it too! I believe that looking for Alaska was way better because to me it never got slow. I also cried reading Looking For Alaska and I didn't for TFIOS as much, but don't get me wrong I did cry because I LOVE Augustus! Like he would be my ideal boyfriend lol :)

Sara Shaw | 3 comments I love this book :') so sad

McKenzie Lynn (yohoeitsmac) | 1 comments Such a moving book! John Green never disappoints me.

Sajid Rabby (rabbyx7xafc) | 4 comments It's my favorite John Green book along with TFIOS... It was absolutely heartbreaking and so beautiful... and I just couldn't accept the fact that (view spoiler)

and yeah definitely agree that LFA would be a better movie than TFIOS... the film rights were bought by Paramount in 2005 but sadly it got shelved... hope if TFIOS does good in the market they will go on to make John's other books into movies...!

Ananya (alpha-q7) | 3 comments Paper Towns by John Green

Ananya (alpha-q7) | 3 comments that book will also make a good movie.

Kajsa | 2 comments Just one feeling. Empty.

I know, right! That movie would shred my heart, though.
I'm still counting down the days till TFIOS movie comes out... Not my fave book by him, but I can't wait anyway.

Leah | 8 comments I don't think it matters but which book do you guys think is best to read first, looking for Alaska or paper towns??

I always prefer to read books in their publication order... I know John's books has nothing to do with each other but still....

I think Looking for Alaska is better to read first to see how John grew up as a writer when you read Paper Towns, his first novel wasn't biographical but it got a lot of personal things in it, and is his style but a bit different
I personally read Paper Towns before Looking for Alaska but I wish I had done it the other way

Leah | 8 comments I agree.

Briana Palencia | 1 comments I finished reading Looking for Alaska yesterday and it was one of the most amazing books I read. I loved how colonel and pudge were trying so hard to figure out what happened to Alaska. It broke my heart that pudge will never get to "continue" on with Alaska.

Leah | 8 comments Yeah. So sad.

Issy They should totally make it into a movie!

Jenna (jhennalilu) | 6 comments What should I read first? Looking for alaska or Abundance of katherines? Thanks in advance.. :)

message 25: by May (new) - rated it 5 stars

May (theladymidnight) I haven't read Abundance of Katherines yet, so I guess I'll say Looking for Alaska!
