(view spoiler)[I like the writing style, the story started so "smooth" and interesting. It would have been so nice to continue direct from here, without jumping or changing the characters. Grishas seems to be very powerful and frightening "things". (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[Jumping over years didn't disturb the flow like I was afraid it would. Maybe it helped that characters were same. They have a dangerous travelling to do, I really hope we will meet some ugly creatures and thrilling moments - I don't want this turning into something lame. Worst would be to wait something exciting and in the end nothing special happening. I don't like about Alina being so after Mal and he isn't appreciating her... (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[It was a bit hard to believe that someone could be so bitchy and snicker at someone who is coming from the fight against terrible creatures. I mean that girl who was in the tent. And it was also a bit hard to believe that you would be worried about your looks when you have just been in the fight (Alina) :D It's also a bit old story that someone finds out she is the savor of the world and has not have some clue about it ever before. But I'm hoping this offers something more than that. (hide spoiler)]
