Yea, that's what happened at first to me when I sent out the invites. Hopefully the group will bloom soon.
Actually, I think I'll add a Fun & Games section to the group. Maybe that will help. I doubt it could hurt.
I think I do, actually. Under General maybe?
I also want to add a Character Ideas thread. (Probably also under General.) Katie had an idea for another character from Bryn's past that she kinda wants someone to play. And someone could take over Sam for me if they wanted... that kind of thing. What do you think?

There's:
The Word Game(A bit over done thou)
The Number game (A bit over done)
The last to post(Overdone but can be fun)
Umm I'll have to think, but I can come up with more.

I dislike the last to post one. It seems completely pointless to me. Other people like it, though, so... I think I'll let someone else start it if they want to. Once I add a couple more games, I'll make an Info topic for the folder and let people know they can make games too.
Ideas: Would you like to have a secret ruin here? A magical circle/portal ? A waterfall with a secret entry behind it? Just some random ideas I was unsure of.
Woke up with a migraine this morning, so I'm only on long enough to approve any characters that need it. Then sleep, even though I've only been up for 8 hours. :(
Any of those things are fine. I love the secret ruin idea especially (bit of an archaeology geek). Feel free to create them if you want.

Thanks. I was going to post in Reception real quick, but I think that may have to wait. Then again, I'm watching Doctor Who; I can do that before the episode's over. ^_^
Does a testing assignment s ounds like a good idea for the students to do assigned by their professors
I'm not worried about it right now. Some of them will require posts to be edited b/c those posts contain the end of a conversation... So let's announce that we're going to do so, to give everyone a heads up. Then one of us can do it about midweek.
Do we have an announcements thread? I don't think we do... We need one.

I just did. But now I have to leave, so if you want to make the announcement, go ahead and do so.
Laters.
Laters.
So I was thinking of adding classrooms, one assigned to each professor, and classes, an fighting/practice ring, where the students can practice using an artificial stimulator for different situations. I added an new place that is nothing but large windmills that can be incorporated in how the college gets it magic. I want to add something like an abandoned building with some story. What do you think ?
I've added classrooms already. I figure classes will take place there... We could have clubs or something like that though.
I like the idea of a fighting/practice ring.
I like the thing with the windmills; I'll have to try to think of a name for it.
An abandoned building? On campus? Hmm... maybe. Maybe it could be, like, the birthplace of the original dean? So a tiny log cabin maybe?

It would probably be locked. But we both know that wouldn't keep out anyone truly determined... ^_^
Did you have a story for the Dean log cabin or shall I come up with one, in which case I wouldn't mine.
Thanks. I need to get to doing that in other folders. I keep forgetting until I get so tired I can't keep my eyes open... -_-'
Okay, so I have a conundrum: ithemer. She joined, made a character, posted for said character once - without waiting for her charactedr to be approved, possibly without even looking at the character creation thread again - then left the group.
I'm debating blocking her from rejoining. She apparently can't handle criticism (which I'm guessing is what she saw my warning as) and can't follow the rules. Should I block her and then go delete all her posts or just leave it alone?

Wow she took that the wrong way..guess she was too inexperienced. Anywho, from an personal experience of mine, I say blocking her would only secure that she doesn't return to the group. Since she deleted herself from the group out of anger-I don't think she has any plans on returning to the group in the long run. My opinion is to leave her unblocked. If she does return than stay on her-explain to her that due to her first actions, she will have one time to slip up, meaning she doesn't follow the rules, or be kicked out of the group for good.
I say delete her one post, as for the character profile I'm not sure if you want to delete it or not as she hasn't really used her character.
All that's pretty much what I was thinking, so I think I'll do that. You may want to edit Naseem's post to reflect that there isn't anyone standing there. ^_^
I'm considering a new policy for the warnings thing. Maybe have them expire after 6 months IF the person has been active during that time, active being defined as posting in an RP thread at least once every other week.
What do you think?
I'm mostly considering it because the more active someone is, the more likely they are to slip up simply due to the number of posts made. Okay, more likely isn't quite the right term. The chance of it happening is roughly the same, but it will look like it happens more often due to the number of posts. That's not quite right either, but it's better.

Actually, that's a good idea. It's makes sense, since so many active roleplayers do continue to be active here, and sometimes it do slips. But while we are making this new rule, are we keeping to six months as the time frame, meaning we can't change or bend this time frame for any reason?
That is a good question. I'm not sure about that. I want to say yes, stick with the six month time frame, as the warnings being removed is dependent upon being active in the group. Or telling us you won't be around and why - or explaining an absense after the fact.
My bad, I thought I asked. Must have wrote it in my head last night and didn't actually write it.
I was going to ask if you wante an index here?

Hey, Iesha? I've got a question for you...
Dragon made a night receptionist (as a minor character), but now she's MIA for a bit. Would you want to play that character while she's away? I'm only asking because I'm thinking of bringing in Izzy soon.
