Jenna Howard (jenna_howard) | 21 comments Is there anyway to remove this name (Riann Colton) from the Goodreads author program so I can change my name to Jenna Howard and be in the author program?

Although probably not until we have a cover showing the new name.

Ah, there are other books under that name. Scratch that then.

In fact, this is something I can do in this particular case.

All done.

Jenna Howard (jenna_howard) | 21 comments Awesome. Thanks, Rivka.

For a new cover for Sarah Mine can I just do that here?

Do you mean the cover with Jenna Howard from Amazon?
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

Setting the default edition of this book to this cover:
https://www.goodreads.com/book/edit/2...
On the right-hand side of the page about halfway down, click "Set this book as the primary edition for this work".
Click "Save Changes"

Jenna Howard (jenna_howard) | 21 comments The new cover hasn't loaded on Amazon yet but yes.

The one on Amazon is different to the ones on Goodreads so I used it.

Jenna Howard (jenna_howard) | 21 comments I clicked on the link and I'm getting a nice alert page telling me "Your permissions will only allow the editing of the metadata" and when I clicked on the answer more questions about your book...it gave me Abby Road by Ophelia London and a different book the second time I clicked on the button.

Jenna Howard (jenna_howard) | 21 comments Okay well now the link is working. Technology is so against me this week.

But it's not giving me the option...I'm going to clear my cache and see if that helps...

Rats, I forgot... Sorry, you need to be a Goodreads Author AND the primary author of a book to be able to set the default edition.

EDIT: I've cheated. Try to set it now.

Jenna Howard (jenna_howard) | 21 comments No I'm still not getting the "set this as the primary edition" option though now it says Riann Colton twice.

That is because you changed the author. Don't do that. Try it again.

message 14: by Jenna (new)

Jenna Howard (jenna_howard) | 21 comments I don't recall changing the author. I had asked what to do with changing my pseudonym and they said to just add my name and keep the original author on. But who knows I might've done it by accident.

And it's now telling me that I can't set this edition as the primary edition.

Try now.

It was different. I'll put everything back as it should be.
