Suggestions to replace Vince Flynn?

Though he does not write a series about one character, Frederick Forsyth, is in my opinion, the best intrigue/spy/thriller there is. Don't get me wrong, I really like Flynn, Childs, Coes, Baldacci, Higgins, LeCarre, Clancy, etc. etc.m but all come up light in a story weaving many parts into a great climax.

Mark Greaney's character,Court Gentry - the Gray Man - comes about as close to a Mitch Rapp style lethal loner as you can get. However, Greaney has already been selected to continue Clancey's legacy. I was under the impression that someone has already been selected to carry on with the Rapp character, or am I mistaken? The sad truth is that no one will ever replace Vince Flynn.

Thanks, Sally. I have read Mills other books. He's good on character development, but a little weak on hardware. He will have to learn a whole different type of tradecraft, since his main characters so far have a law enforcement background. Any idea of when Mills will debut his first Mitch Rapp novel?
