Hahaha! I did see that Tina was thinking of it, but I ignored it thinking she was coming back to confirm, but I'm happy to take it as a pass :)

Tina (whitley97) | 232 comments Sorry about that, I just couldn't find a book that would work for that week and forgot to check in!

Jane (PS) | 24361 comments I'm sorry Ana - it looks like you are out of the game. But this means that your team can compete pretty well in this final round :)

Good luck girls!!!

~KarenH~ | 11383 comments Week 9 - Book from the RRRC's shapeshifter shelf (https://www.goodreads.com/group/books...).
This book cannot come from any other location.

Option 2 key date: 4 October 2013

Keep in mind everyone, Jane's instructions regarding this week's posts:
Same as the other weeks but posts will not be considered final unless they have ALL the required information in both the selection AND completion posts. I will judge completion of a team's reading by these posts including the last time the post was edited if there is a close contest between teams.

Hi Ana,

I'm sorry, but you needed to have at least one of those reviews and your week 8 book posted before this week's theme was announced in order to stay eligible for the final week. It actually doesn't make a lot of difference though - another team has already completed the challenge and won before any of us completed this week's book...

If you want to go ahead and read books for the last two themes you're certainly welcome to do it on your own, but it won't count officially for the challenge.

quick read, very enjoyable for a harry potter fan that misses the stories about hogwarts and wizards' world like me

~KarenH~ | 11383 comments Ok, even though the challenge is over, just so I can say I finished...

Week 9 - Kinked (Elder Races, #6) by Thea Harrison Kinked by Thea Harrison. 294 pages per GR

I love this series, especially the audio versions narrated by Sophie Eastlake. This was no exception, although it wasn't my favorite in the series. I really enjoyed seeing the softer side of Aryal, and watching Quentin settle into his position as Sentinal. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series!

Lili | 343 comments Week 8 - Before Jamaica Lane (On Dublin Street, #3) by Samantha Young Before Jamaica Lane by Samantha Young 08/04*****

Oh my God... this was an awesome book, thank you Samantha Young for this treat to my senses.
Just finished it last night and I've got to say I even had a great night of sleep and woke up in a great mood.

I love these characters, they are flawed and real and so amazing!
I could totally understand Olivia's insecurities and felt for Nate and his insecurities, they grew with the story and I couldn't but fall in love with them in the process.

Now I just have to wait for the next one... *grumble grumble*

Lili | 343 comments Week 9 - Night Broken (Mercy Thompson, #8) by Patricia Briggs Night Broken 04/11*****

I love this author because Mercy's books are just awesome but I so hate her because I know, I know! I'm in for a stressful couple of days.
Briggs can write and build and trap you with her stories, I already know that I won't know what will happen or how is Mercy going to get out of it all until the very last 5% of the book, hence the stress.

On this particular story we met Christy, well, we already knew about Adam's ex-wife but now we got to spend some time with her and God!, I wanted to bitch-slap her so bad!, I wanted Mercy to kick her ass but that wouldn't be like her and so she didn't.

We met a new monster, Adam was as hot as always...I hope we get to read more about Stefan in the future, I really like him.

Great book, awesome series, can't wait for the next one.
