JenniferAustin (austinrh) I am currently reading (listening to the audiobook) The Art of Starving by Sam J. Miller, and it is brilliant. I can't put it down, and I don't want it to end!

Ami the Teef Thief | 1 comments The last book I read was Neuromancer by William Gibson. I thought it was a fantastic read. However, I did get lost a few times simply because I wasn't acclimated to the prose of Gibson. Once I got used to that I sped through the book and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Erin :) | 11 comments I just finished reading To Be Taught, If Fortunate and I frankly loved it. I only wish it had been longer. For the story that was being told, novella length was correct...but I wanted more of both the stories and the characters. I know it is one of the nominations for the BoTM for October, and no matter what I recommend it! :)

In the last couple of days I finished Children of Blood and Bone (Fantasy) and Silence of the Girls (Ancient Historical themed Fiction). Both were fantastic. I recommend them both :)

Makes me want to re-read it. I've only read it the once over a decade ago, but it was great!

Neuromancer (Sprawl, #1) by William Gibson

I finished Scourged, the last book in the Iron Druid Chronicles. Looks like it got a good deal of hate from fans but I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

I think Gibson started losing his cool when he stopped writing about ninjas with detachable thumbs.

I've been so leary of reading this because of all the hate that it got

I really think it was because it didn't end the way people wanted it to.

The Republic of Thieves (Gentleman Bastard, #3) by Scott Lynch
I have no review other than I was, for the most part, very satisfied.

Evi | 1 comments I finished Jade War by Fonda Lee. It's the second book from the Green Bone Saga and I really loved it!!

Mike Curtis | 155 comments Mogworld by Yahtzee Croshaw

It was fine enough but suffers for being not as good as Orconomics (which spoofed similar topics) and Yahtzee's subsequent book Will Save the Galaxy for Food.

rin (rintroversion) | 162 comments Enjoyed Cosmoknights by Hannah Templer. It's a sci-fi world with battlesuits in some kind of feudally-influenced society with mech-jousting! A graphic novel with appealing characters and gorgeous colours.

The Poisonwood Bible Really impressed me. Very good writing, giving each character as they took over a distinctive and consistent voice.

Syreeta Moore (mystactral) | 13 comments Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard was amazing. Can't wait to get my hands on the rest of the series!

Ahh is it? I always feel a bit uncertain when authors play with characters from other series', which is what Thursday Next does, right?

Sorta. She works fur "Juris Fiction" the book police, that prevent books from getting changed. It's more like literary satire. I thought they were brilliant, personally.
