Facebook group where we get authors reviews

I was wondering if any authors and readers would be interested in joining a group where we feature authors each month and try to get them up to 25 + honest reviews on amazon. I'm part of one already, but they are always booked. Was thinking about starting up one. Any takers?? Even if it helps authors a little bit, it all counts! It's be through Facebook.

I will help out as long as there isn't a conflict with Goodreads regulations, as Justin said. I'm editing my own novella right now and I love to help indie authors get the attention they deserve.

I'd also like to point out an excellent, fast-expanding group called The Source, which screens and reviews self-published books in order to recommend truly "good reads".

If you're willing, this book is horror. The cover art is beautiful, but the contents are violent and graphic. This is horror, not YA, or simple erotica, or the tale of a woman scorned. This book has been turned down thus far for review due to the severity of the subject matter. This is not for the timid or easily offended reader. This book will disturb you.

Thank you for offering to do this.

Please explain how the group would be set up. Would participants buy others' books to review or would authors be expected to provide free copies? (I was in a Facebook group in which we bought the books we wanted to review, so it benefited authors through sales also.)

How will you decide which authors to feature?

Would there be a pool of books from which readers can choose?

There will be 3 chosen authors a month. The author will provide free copies of their book/s in exchange for honest reviews.

I'm going to start a list of authors, and it will be first come first serve. February I am doing a "theme" of romance (minus erotica.)

Please share the link if you know more people who'd love to help authors, or are authors who'd like this group.

I am in the process of getting a professionally edited version of my book published. Hopefully by March/April at the latest. So at the moment I don't think I would get very good reviews on the current published version.
