Once Upon A Time and Lara

"When did she started to react like this?"

James clutched her hand, "Stay with me Calla." He said gently, "You'll be ok."

"Someone make it stop." She was using her little energy to cry. Her face went pale. Everything stop. Her breathes come farther apart.
"What's happening? We need someone to tell help." The siren walked in.
"I see she is trapped in a dreamscape. One way to do that is to find the Dreamwalker who put it on there. They do it to protect someone they care about it and warn them." She smiled faintly. "She is goner if you don't find the Dreamwalker."
"How about if they died?"
"Here is a dream stick it can summon any Dreamwalker dead or alive." She toss the stick."Just say the Dreamwalkers name." She was gone.

He looked around and spotted Calla. He sighed, "I'm gone for one day and you already get yourself into trouble?" he rolled his eyes and bent over her, muttering something under his breath.
"What are you doing?" James asked, slightly surprised to see Josh.
"Waking her up. She'll be fine now." He promised, standing again.

"Will she be ok now?" Looking at Josh. "She won't go crazy. She thinks your away on a trip."

Sam looked up, "Are you sure? She doesn't seem to be holding together too well."
Josh smiled, "She never did. But she'll learn." He looked around, "I have to go."
James looked down at Calla, "Hey, you're ok now." He said gently, "Time to wake up. Your brother's leaving."

He just looked at Calla. "See she can't handle it."

Sam hoped Josh would be able to talk some sense into Calla, as she had failed to do so.

"Princess what if he can't get through to her?"

"He will." Sam said hopefully, "He has to."

"I know. He has to. She's not taking this well."

James nodded in thanks and Josh just smiled back, "You have to move on Calla."
Sam nodded. "I don't think there is much more that we can do here. Shall we leave them alone?"

"I don't know. Josh this is working."

Josh turned to Danny, "Yeah I know. I have to go. I'm starting to think that she's hopeless."
"What's that supposed to mean?" James asked.
Josh shrugged, "It means that unless she pulls herself together, your going to have to leave her at a hospital and rule the world by yourself."
"What!" James asked.
"Yeah." Josh nodded, "She has to get over herself. And it doesn't look like that's happening."

"Josh you should go now." Danny smiled grimly. "Princess we can't put Calla in the hospital."

Sam looked at Calla, "I know, but what else can we do?"
James was still holding Calla's hand. "Calla you have to move on. There is nothing you can do about it now."

"Princess this would be bad if anything happened to James."

"No it's not." James said, "Stop lying to yourself. You have to accept reality." He was getting tired of arguing with her. He picked her up again and carried her to her room. "You guys go on your honeymoon. I'll work something out here." He called to them as he walked down the hallway.
"Are you sure?" Sam asked, worried about them.
"Yes. I would feel worse if you had to miss yours as well. Just go." He said, rounding and corner and walking into the bedroom. He put Calla down on the bed.

"James, Josh is gone. She has to go. I needed him. I just got him back." She sniffled."James what happen? The whole wedding I saw flashes of him dying over and over again." She was getting tired. "James your not going to go are you?"

"I'm staying right here." He promised her. "I love you Calla."

"I love you James." She blinked tears came out of her eyes. "Josh is dead." She said as a statement. "I broke." She told James."I need help to be fixed."

"James can you fix me. I'm broke. I need help." She looked up at him.

Calla absorbed the kiss. She kissed a little harder. Her pain left her.

James felt his worry melting. Everything would be ok now. He held Calla gently, pulling her closer to him.

She pushed closer to James. She needed him. She knew she was broken. She felt almost whole again.

James kept it up. His hand moved to the back of her neck . He smiled against her. She felt strong again. "I love you so much Calla." He whispered.

"I love you too." She smiled. She moved closer to him.

They were so close. James could feel her heartbeat against his. He could feel her breathing. She felt so alive, and real, and close. He looked into her eyes. They were as brilliant and blue as ever. He smiled a bit.

She could feel his breathing. She batted her eyes. She felt better. "James I feel exhausted." She looked up. Color was coming back to her skin.

"Do you need to go to sleep for a while?" He asked her.

"I wont leave you." He promised. "I'm staying right here." He lay down beside her on the bed.

"Ok." She nodded her head. She snuggled against him. "James I'm sorry. I ruined everything this weekend. I should of told you about the dream. I was suppose to be happy. Not sad." She laid her head on his chest.

James smiled, putting an arm around her and resting his hand on her head. "It's ok. That's all over now. We can just enjoy the moment." He said, kissing her hair gently. "You looked lovely in your dress."

"Ok. Will I ever be fixed?" She asked him. She still felt broken.

"Eventually." James promised. "Everything heals with time. Besides, I'll be here to help you through it."

"Ok." She paused."No more nightmares?"

James nodded, "No more nightmares, I promise." He smiled down at her.

She nodded and closed her eyes. "Goodnight." She said faintly.

James smiled, "Goodnight." He said gently.

She was swept into a dream. She was so tired. At first it was sweet dreams. Then it changed into those nightmares. She laid there. "No." She screamed. This wasn't happening. She saw her brother leaving. She saw the events of the past two days replay in her dreams.

James woke up and hugged her, "Shhh," He said, "It's ok. It's just a dream. I'm right here." He promised her gently.

She snuggled closer. "Nightmare over and over again." She opened her eyes. Tears came down her cheeks. "Make them stop." She looked at James.

James smiled down at her, kissing her gently. "I'll try to." He said softly against her cheek.

She let the kiss consume her. She felt better and tired. She smiled against his lips. "You scared away the nightmares?" She asked trying not to be funny. She was really terrified by them.

James smiled sympathetically. "Yes. I think I did."
"I can't until I know what is wrong with her." Sam said, her heart beating frantically, Calla, you have to tell me what is wrong.
