Editing of the Talmud

hi Harry! My question is about editing the Talmud both in terms of enforced editing by the Christian authorities and rabbinical editing. Does your book cover this?

Hi Yoav! I deal a lot with censorship of the Talmud - and worse. But I don't know anything about deliberate rabbinic editing once the text had crystallised, except where the censors employed Jews to help them (which had the advantage for the Talmud that the amendments could be controlled) or where some wise guy 'corrected' the text because why wouldn't he know better?

I'd love to hear your take on the book as and when you get round to reading it.
