I thought parts were good but some were not well written. I did enjoy the cuddle bears scaring the literal crap out of the pedo. LOL

I'm giving it 3.5*. An enjoyable enough read but didn't blow me away. I've got more of his work so I'm looking forward to reading a few more things.

I've also decided to drop my mark for Damnation 101 to 2.5*.

As to our next read, I have picked up a few from P.A. Douglas.

I have The Old One: A Lovecraft Mythos Novel, Cucumber Punk and Watchers. I think his stuff is bizarro.

I finished Halloween Orgy and it was a fun, cheesy read that fell a little short for me.

Hmm. We can take a break from bizarro for a read. These are pretty covers or titles that caught my attention that I'd like to get to:
Dead Trash: A Zombie Exploitation Quadruple Feature, Chet & Floyd vs. the Apocalypse: Volume 1, Black Redneck vs. Space ZombiesAll-Night Terror,Candy House, or a Tim Curran read.

Is anyone else noticing how smoothly this story is written. I haven't had one hiccup. Also, the voices of the jailbird women sound realistic. I like.

Smooth characters for sure. Realistic dialog and some hard ass b*tches! I am only at about 30% but am liking it so far. Zombie tales can sometimes be very stale for me.

Yes I agree Bill. Since it comes off a bit like a parody it keeps it from seeming stale to me.

The characters make or break a zombie novel.
