February Challenge - A Post Apocalyptic Summer
My choice for this challenge is Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins .. the last one in the series I've been waiting to read for a little while. Perfect opportunity!

Starting with re-reading 1984 by George Orwell.
Then I'll be looking into a few other series.
I've read Hunger Games and the Divergent series already and want to read some new books for this challenge :)

Wool is great. I don't think I'd really categorise Ender's Game as post-apocalyptic though, just science fiction.

What a wonderful choice, I loved the series

Oh really Liam? It was on one of the lists I thought. Is there another you would recommend? I've read The Road and The Hunger Games trilogy and really enjoyed all 4 books. Is there something similar to those other than Divergent which I wouldn't read? Does Gone qualify as post-apocalyptic? That's another one I want to read.

Angelfall series is another one - although it is very much Twilight-but-with-angels.

This one of my favourite genres and I have read most of the titles already mentioned. I will have to do a search.............

I want to as well. I am on the waiting list at the library.
I will read The Waste Lands as I am up to number 3 and World Made by Hand. I will update further in the month if I add more on.

Good luck, I'm sure you'll find something;)

I Am Legend would be a good book to read for this challenge - and so would The Gunslinger.
A quick search hasn't shown me anything I want to read. I might go to bed and have another look tomorrow!

I agree. I really liked Gunslinger. I got excited when I saw this month's topic. I read this genre a lot so it was quite easy to pick.

Enjoy!

I have The Maze Runner by James Dashner in my TBR pile as well. Well have the whole trilogy to be honest. Plan to read it soon because the movie is coming out this year

Yes! I saw the movie was coming out. That was another reason
I wanted to read it.

hmmm, that looks really interesting.. might have to add that one too :)

It sounds good but it is old so I thought I might have trouble getting it. Turns out my library does not have it, it is not available on Kindle so I have ordered the paperback from Book Depository.

Great Choice Brenda!
I'm presently the first in the series so I'll finish February with MockingJay!
PS: sorry no links (how do you do that?)

Doreen, in the top right hand corner of your comment box it says "add book/author". Click on that, then type in the book you want to find - either title or ISBN, "search" and click "add" when the correct one shows. It will automatically appear in this box. Then go back to it to get the cover (down the bottom of the drop-down box it says "link/cover" so click on "cover" and the same with author:)
Hope you're enjoying The Hunger Games - I loved the first two:)

Liam is correct Binari, this one doesn't really qualify as apocalyptic:)

That's awesome Marianne. How do you manage to get all these great deals? You're obviously in the right place at the right time. Well done.

I understand this is going to come out as a movie version this year. Another one I haven't read yet - going to have to do something about that too :)
