On a positive note I like how I totally couldn't have guessed where the fuck this story was going......definitely not your typical love story. I struggled to finish the book until I got to 80%. I shoulda expected to not like it so I coulda loved it more...does that make sense. I did like how I couldn't guess at all where Georgia was taking us on this ride. I will most likely give it a 4. OK I loved it, Marsha too and Claudine rated it 4 stars. Lana you haven't rated yet. I am thinking 4.5 but most likely 5. But then I have a weakness for the subject matter and of course the alpha moguls....

The dialogue was different, the prose was forced, the sacrificing children and religious babble was WTF? The first half was great and angsty and then the whole story took a left turn like someone else was writing it. And did I mention choppy!? The narrative would go from descriptive prose describing her feelings and surroundings to BOOM and now I'm aching for Blake. How you can go from crown molding to cock in the mouth is beyond me. I'm not saying it's wrong, but just lets transition better, eh? Ok, rant over. I need sleep!LOL (hide spoiler)]

I'm disappointed. The book is filled with gaps, rushed situations, it was really hard to follow at some point. :/

- how could the author rush the end like this but took time to build up all the lust/attraction relationship between Lana and Blake?

To me it felt like i was suddenly reading another story about conspiracy after the 82% mark.

- Maybe it's the mother inside me, but i kept wondering about the baby. He was there, but not really though, you know what i mean? Like he was just hanging out there for the sake of the story...

- The holes in the story... Transition between chapters and paragraphs were really hard to follow sometime.
Even in the story i had hard time to understand how they had reach another state... (around 50% they suddenly openly love/care for each other... )

- At the end we understand how Blake faked to have the lower hand in his father play, but yet he couldn't know where Lana went during a whole year? He had to use the bank informatic system to flag her... With all the resources he has... Unbelievable.

- He knew the apartment was bugged for ears and eyes but didn't care to let Lana fuck him with a dildo... right.
(And seriously? we're just learning his father abused him to teach him he could break him? It goes not further than that? )

- Again with his (Blake) resources he thought His father sent Lana away, while it was Victoria's doing...

- At the beginning of book 2 the fake letter Victoria's father made (at the end of book 1) is mentioned by Mr Nair, but that is all. Lana never tries to understand what happened, what the letter said.

- Blake killed his father. Oh plane accident. Right. Done.

(What am i the only one to think it's all sudden and want further explanations? )

Some characters are mentioned but we never actually met them, or have more info about them. I wanted to know more about Blake's family, (Mom, younger brother, his sister....)

i wanted to know more about Victoria's too. There was some kind of sick relationship with her father? What was that? Her mother too...

Conspiracy theories went to the toilet when the author mentioned the DSK story... I was LMAO! I would have preferred nothing related to the real life events.
Or i would have been okay with it if her whole conspiracy theory part wasn't so rushed! And please i need answers for what happened in book 1! (the ball, the rites.. i want to know, especially if Blake keeps his place in the Society...)

Well, i could go on, but it's soon 3 in the morning...
So many things left unfinished, rushed...
I'm thinking of a lower rating than the first... :(

Yes, as if he would not know where she was for the year. and Victoria - she was not even mentioned. as i said before, it was full of cliches, Jack Irish, secretly in love with her, then he goes to Sudan to work, the handicapped sister, training animals????? or thinking she is. the CUNT word. well at 82% I just laughed out loud - of course he had been abused like that, when she went to the Moors I swear I was expecting a health cliff moment or something like a hand at the window - seriously. and the head of IMF story, when the father mentioned getting HIM, i.e. I posted a comment saying that the head of IMF is female and then she goes and actually puts in the real story about DSK and the incident in NY - Puhleeese.....Well done you for staying up until late to finish it. I probably could go on bit more about inconsistencies.... I mean - a lookalike going out with a pram.... the hit and run for the mother. (hide spoiler)]

Blake and Lana will get their grand wedding in Besotted which is due for release on the 29th of April 2014. They will continue to feature over the entire series, but Besotted is also the story a girl who hates Lana and a mysterious, delicious man with no past.
The series ends when all the characters have been thrown into the arms of their true loves.
