I'm team Maxon, all the way and I've only read the first book.

Maxon, obviously. Aspen is so annoying. He's the one who convinced her to go to the Selection in the first place, and then he's just like "Oh, it's a mistake, you shouldn't have gone."i mean, if he actually cared and wanted her to be happy he wouldn't keep sneaking into her room and kissing her, because that could get her thrown out of the palace. Ugh! He's just so annoying. At this point I actually seriously hope he'll die in a rebel attack or something and America will get her stuff together and realize Aspen is completely not worth her time.
MAXON! After reading The Prince novella, I realized just how much America means to Maxon. Aspen on the other hand, can get any girl he wants, and I think America deserves better than him.

I thought it should be Aspen at first, but after reading the second book, she should definitely pick Maxon.
I've only read the Slection so far but Prince Maxon have always ben my favourite ever since the first moment when he was kind to America even though she yelled at him. :)
I hoped for the TV series
Aspen is a jerk. He pretends to be all selfless (Oh, America, we can't be together, it would RUIN your life!!!), then he turns around and wants to be with her in the palace, risking her own life just so he can have his bodily pleasure or whatever? Maxon, on the other hand, actually has a heart. If the sparks of passion died down after they got married, at least they could still be friends and make it work. But Aspen and America have a purely physical relationship. If they did marry, once America gets wrinkly and saggy, their "love" would fizzle.
Not to mention Maxon's the prince and marrying him would be a financially smart decision for America and her family.
So yeah. GO TEAM MAXON!

Maxon. He truly wants to change things in their country, and make a difference. Aspen is just an ass.

I stg I'm about to throw hands with Aspen. After HE broke up with America, he srsly thought that he could just swoop into the castle and all of a sudden, she's completely fine with the fact that he broke her heart. He's not at all what America deserves and it pisses me off that he thinks he deserves her.

I know this is controversial, but Maxon just creeped me out. I never felt any connection between him and America; he generally puts me at unease. I don't LOVE Aspen either but I prefer him to Maxon.
100% maxon although he sometimes was a bitch like Aspen

Definitely Maxon! I feel that Aspen was like, "Oh, you were nice to me. Now, because I am no longer the provider, I must break up with my girlfriend and leave her devastated." And then the whole thing with putting America's life and future below his own whims? Messed up.
Maxon for sureeee. Aspen just doesn’t have the chemistry and tension with America that Maxon does. Plus, Maxon did everything he could to help her stay in the first book even after she had told him that there was no way she would love him.
We love Maxon Aspen gave me the ick.
Everyone is for Maxon but and Aspen ? The only problem between America and him was that they were poor. He didn't want this life for her, and he becomes rich !!! This is perfect !!! Then, he wants her back, it's logic. He just wants to make her happy. And Maxon is just searching for a wife, this is the only reason he wants America. I mean, he kissed other girls !!! When he knew America could be his wife !
