I gave it a solid four stars, and you may read my review if you'd like, but I can make two general observations - I wanted to read it again when I'd finished (and you'll see why) and I didn't expect it to be as funny as it was.

LindaJ^ (lindajs) | 2548 comments I have it on Kindle, so am ready to go!

Jenny, I will be leading the discussion, and I have just started reading it. I'm already finding it "very spinny" as you mentioned in your review. Please participate in the discussion and help the rest of us find our way through it.

Zulfiya (ztrotter) | 397 comments I went to the bookstore and found it in the clearance section. I always find amazing quality fiction in this section at Hastings. I once bought Donna Tartt's The Secret History for 99 cents; two weeks ago there was a deal of FOUR books for a dollar. Among the purchased four were Empire Falls and The Mambo Kings Play Songs Of Love.

This time I broke the bank by spending three dollars:-) It is amazing how genre fiction is bestselling at the price of 17-26 dollars and quality fiction is left underappreciated:-) On the other hand, I paid full price for We Are Water and The Goldfinch and do not begrudge a single penny:-)

Evelina | AvalinahsBooks (avalinahsbooks) | 116 comments three dollars, so jealous :) that's pretty amazing there

Maurice Excellent choice. Somewhere between four and five stars for me. Brilliantly funny, but I won't be surprised if it's too mean-spirited for many....
