Housecleaning- prep for my mom and brother coming for a stay. Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays were canceled last year. I am looking forward to the holiday gatherings. It feels like a fresh start to a new year. Yay!

Here the sun is shining and the temps are in the mid-40s, but the winds are increasing. A zillion little finches and sparrows are chowing down at my bird feeders, and hanging out like holiday ornaments in our leafless apricot tree. I think they might know something. : )

Really? I shake my head at you (in a fond way), Idamus. ;) It happened on a cloudy, damp day while standing around at a party, so it's a particularly disappointing sunburn. At least it hurts less today.
