The Best Thing About Today...

Yes, here the same! :-)"
:-)

I slept about 11 hours last night. That is rare! I was so exhausted after not being able to sleep all week and trying to get over a lingering cold.

Yay! :-)
Yay! :-)

(They're appleshaped pancakes and we eat them at Christmas mostly, but I couldn't wait, they're served hot with jam and sugar.
The original recipe had an apple slice inside, but I've only tried that once, it's not common anymore)

The mentioning of CVs in the given situation has me concerned.

Really. Very few people dress up where I work, but at least two children's librarians joined in, so I wasn't completely alone. It used to be just me in a building with several hundred people. *sigh*

Pardon my ignorance, but what does CV mean?

Yes, Curriculum Vitae, like Na said. And I didn't mean to worry you guys!
It's a CV of art classes (or more accurately... the classes specializing in visual arts). Four years ago we made a huge effort when we wrote CV for our art classes (even though the CV starts only from the year 2001 forward). Today I wanted to KICK MYSELF for not updating it during the last four years, because I just heard that I have to write down those four years before tomorrow! ARGH!
We're going to send the very, very long CV of our art, music and sports classes to the city council members on Sunday. :-)

Nice!
You made me think about this morning: I met a client (which happens very seldom) and it would have been handy to wear something scary ;-). I'm joking, probably she was a bit difficult just because she is not well equipped to deal with life.

Thank you for clarifying.
Probably we got worried because for many of us a CV can only apply to a person, not to a class.

lol. the little kids had a Halloween parade around the library today and the teens were afraid some of their costumes would scare the kids, so they were trying to cover up the grotesque face masks somehow glued to their faces. It was kinda funny, actually. But everyone seemed to have a good time.

Oh! Well, that is a pain but not as big a pain as I was fearing. :-)
