I know! It's total winter wonderland here. Snowplows are driving around and when we have to go out and walk the dog we really have to wade through the snow. It's weird. I don't think I'm quite ready for this yet.

I am at home now and feel very good, because I know I have two whole days for whatever. I love it to decide it ad hoc, without to much planning :-)

Drat it all, vacation's off. Never mind, I'm staying home this weekend. It was kind of a spur of the moment thing because it's a holiday on Monday, but my husband's got work troubles to deal with this weekend, so we decided to save it for a less stressful time. Oh well.

I've just got to say, I'm so glad our NaNoWriMo Meet and Greet is over. So much work went into an event where more than 100 introverted writers didn't know what to do to pass the time and couldn't follow directions very well either, especially when it was written down for them. *sigh* I love NaNoWriMo, but all I can think about is "one more year. Only one more year before I can quit being in charge. Are we there yet?" Would it be alright to leave after only nine years in charge rather than a full ten? I'm starting to think so.
I suppose my word of the day is Embarrassed

Last night I finished the first Brandstetter! So good! And then I have looked in the second :-). I have ordered Backtrack and I am waiting for it. Patience is not my strong point! I would love to have more than two days in a row that I am really awake, but I don't sit on the couch and think sleep, please don't avoid me. I have more the tendency to think, okay sleep then not, I have here very good, beautiful books to read or to hear!! Tonight it will be Fair Game and I am looking forward to hear it. It is one of my comfort audiobooks! Sleepless but in good company!

I'm so happy you enjoyed Brandstetter! And Backtrack will be worth the wait. I have little patience too when it comes to waiting for books :-)
My all-time comfort story, Josh's of course, is Icecapade. Audio...probably The Ghost Wore Yellow Socks. :-)
