The Best Thing About Today...

Nothing like a festival of absurdity to kill a Debbie Downer stretch, right? So I am making useless crap on knitting looms (because I can't hand knit to save my life). Fun useless crap. In the Outlander TV series I've been a rabid fan of, Claire wears various knit accessories so, being that I look/dress exactly like her (so very not, LOL), I'm re-creating a few. So far has resulted in my cannibalizing an ancient unfinished project into a pumpkin orange cowl to wear with my KISS Army t-shirt. Cause I'm all about keeping it classy. ;-p

Dh is now officially back at work. He was before, early last week, but then, things went wrong again. Hopefully, this time will turn the trick. A bit nervy waiting for the next shoes to drop, but I've been assured there aren't any shoes left. o.O We shall see.

No resting on one's laurels, eh? ; )"
Still a lot of catching up to do -- and then onto the Christmas stories. :-)

Well I sort of like the idea of choosing one word and trying to focus on that through out the day... For today:
Listen

No more shoes left, my ass. Albeit a small shoe -- he doesn't have to stay home from work. At the (neurotic) rate I'm going, should just knit him an entirely new leg and be done with it. Problem solved! >:D

We joined the 21st century by finally buying a decent phone so dh will have reliable one with him, just in case, when he returns to walking (and later maybe running??? *fingers crossed*). When he isn't hoofing it for miles, though, will be family phone so we're all playing with and learning how to use the thing. My first adventures in auto correct, which is valiantly trying to succeed at what my mother catastrophically failed at -- cleaning up my language. I find this extremely amusing. :-D

LOL That's about the first thing I turn off on any such device.

Congrats on the new phone

Apparently, today, I am putting out the last of the Halloween cap that's been languishing in our living room, waiting for a freak-free moment. No crap in meh stuffs, no crap indeed. LOL
