Me too.
Magic.
That's what it feels like when you start the day needing to schedule 10 events by tomorrow and only 4 seem possible and then, magic, I have 9 events scheduled and the day isn't even over yet. Only one left to work on. Thank God. lol.

Today started out not so good. Turned out pretty awesome in terms of getting stuff done.
Right now: 10 out of 10 events scheduled. Phew!

It's always fun to find and explore new cities and places. And if you didn't get to see it all, it just means you have to go back some day :)

Dh's been off work for over a month, in & out of the hospital...Just when we thought things might be approaching some semblance of normalcy (or at least a new normal), nope! We've both been trying to be upbeat because the God's honest truth is it could be a lot worse. But our positive and upbeat is wearing pretty thin. Being negative and a Debbie Downer certainly doesn't help anything, but I don't know how to turn it around. I just want to get in the car and drive, yanno? Anywhere. Just for a little while. I can't, though, and even if I could, I'd want to take dh with me. I don't want to get away from him. Especially now. I could've lost him, FFS. Hell no, I don't want to get away from him! Not sure what I do want to get away from exactly, though. All the crap going on inside my head probably.
Boy, when your luck turns, it REALLY turns, don't it? :(

You want to get away from all your problems, not your husband of course. It's quite natural to feel like this when things get overwhelming. Unforunately, life sucks sometimes, and we can't run away from life.
I hope your luck turns again soon, back to normal and good. Sending hugs your way.

Ribwort(buckhorn) plantain and thyme tea, it loosen the mucus and makes it easier to cough up and therefore reduced the urge to cough.
Feel better soon and please take care!

I'll hold the punching bag for you, while you wear yourself out. *******AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH********
Did that help?
You guys are so strong and have been through so much. It gets tiring, so feel free to come here and be yourself. Congrats for having hubby home with you.
Your stuff is welcome here any time Kari. Just bring it.
More hugs coming your way, Kari. Take care — I hope everything starts to look a little brighter soon.

Noooo! Too bad the hot milk and all the other good (virtual) stuff we sent to you didn't help.
When I cough I use this salve with camphor to rub in. It probably does the same like what Sabine described and it smells so very good. :-)

Yo, we were a little bit too enthusiastic! :-)

Well, whatever works :-)

Kari, exercise, any sport, even a little workout are a good idea actually. Helps with frustration, anger... Good luck.

Thanks for the kindness, everybody. Still frazzled (my word for today), another visit with the doc in a bit. One more thing. Hand to God, just one more thing and I'm packing dh off to Morgantown where they know wth they're doing.

That's good advice, Kari!
And sorry for the hell you're going through right now. :-(

Peppermint tea with honey is one of my favorite things to drink these days. Otherwise, I can't stand flavored water, be it the bottles you can buy or tea.

I think I'm finally getting over my cold, I hope the lingering cough goes away soon.

Welcome to the club! I still have crackling in my ear and a persistent cough. Ugh. Will this never go away?
