We usually get the first snow sometime in October. It doesn't always stay, though. Last autumn/winter was so warm and wet that we barely had snow in December.

My region has a oceanic/marine west coast climate. Temperatures are mild. Due to that I am insufferable with 'extreme' temperatures. Meaning I rant a lot when it is beyound below 5°C (it's cold! Cold, cold, cold...) and above 25°C (too hot!). :P
