Peppermint oil. Mix a couple drops with a carrier oil (I like almond, but olive oil will work in a pinch) and rub into your neck. Did great with my congestion a while back, a non-stinky version of Vicks vapor rub.

My word for the day: mean. Dh didn't listen to the doc yesterday, thought he could get away with crap while I was working...I am quite evilly satisfied that he's miserable. Sympathy? *snort* That's what you get, buster.

It has started gradually, but not much here in Oslo yet. But in the mountains, september is usually when the fall colours are at its most beautiful, before the trees get bare and the grass brown.
