Good luck!

Thinking of you, Jordan. I hope it goes well. Congratulations. :)

Kari, you have all my solidarity, also because I had been in a similar situation: after the second time my husband had complications, I refused to do it anymore and he learned to administer the shots on his own.

Dh can do his own shots. It's just easier for me to do it. Less clumsy? Granted, I'm not a fan of poking with the stabby needles by any stretch of the imagination (wigs me out), but mostly, I just need for nothing else to go wrong right now. Because if it does, I'm gonna need a sedative, LOL.

O.O
I hope everything's all right!!!
My word: hangover. And not the fun kind, either. This is from a migraine I woke up with last night. I eventually climbed on top of it, but the morning after leaves much to be desired, to say the least.

*LOL* That's Josh's books in the reality of readers!

Yikes, I'm glad it wasn't your home though

No, I meant how did it go? :-)

Thank goodness.
It seems to be the week for it. My car was broken into last week. Back window smashed up. :-(

Double "oh noes"! :-(
Double "oh noes"! :-(

For me was it more annoying, the shop has a very good insurance. I think the feeling is different, if the own home or car is concerned, more like a intrusion in the privacy. And I have memories linked to some of my stuff and so these things are not so easy to replace. I feel sorry for you, Josh!

Ah, won't know until tomorrow!

My friend's car was broken into a few years ago. He called me at midnight to ask what I had stored in his trunk, because rather than keep lugging stuff around for our NaNoWriMo events, we kept a lot of it in the trunk of his car. Nothing too expensive, but the thieves got away with the name tags, stickers, power strips, and our Elmo mascot. So, we just kind of have a good time laughing about it, wondering what their reactions were after opening the bags they stole.
The scary part though, the really scary part, was that he'd asked me if I wanted to leave my laptop in the car as well, just the night before. I don't know why he asked me that, since I use it to write, and it's my electronic "baby" and all and I wouldn't let it out of my sight like that, but he did. If I'd taken him up on that offer...
Now we have a running joke, "It'll be safe in the trunk." "Sure, of course it will!"
Hopefully nothing too precious or expensive was stolen from your car, Josh! I'm every so grateful we could easily replace everything we'd lost.

Thank you, Sabine. It was aggravating, but it's okay now. There was nothing in the car and they left the CD player unharmed, so it was okay.

Oh good!
Oh good!

Oh noes :-(

Uh oh.
WAKE UP!!! YOU CAN'T BE DEAD!!"
I feel dead :-(
Hopefully I'll feel better tomorrow
(I've listened to people drilling in concrete walls for 4 hours today, apparently my school can't do renovations in the holidays)

Glad you're okay and that it wasn't your home. Still scary though. Also, i'm glad that you had Kit with you to take your mind off things. He's good at that :-)

ACK! And ACK again for having to replace the rear window.
We had a rash of punks cruising the back roads and breaking into cars a few years ago, got dh's. Got his wallet. The man has no sense. Literally. NONE. They hit his car because his was unlocked (mine is always locked), had not only his wallet in it (WTF?) but also HIS CAR KEYS. We're damn lucky the little punks were only interested in cash and not a free ride.
This is the difference between me and dh. He leaves (or rather left because I threw such a hissy fit about it he doesn't dare do that anymore, LOL) his wallet and keys in an unlocked car...And I install an exterior driveway camera (no cheap endeavor when you need a camera that can take the mountain cold and film in low/no light) and invested in lockable caps for each of our car's gas tanks. Dh fails spectacularly in the paranoid nutter category. Good thing I excel at it.
My word for today is SHIFTERS!
