Indeed! An overnight staff retreat to a nearby resort/convention facility that sits out in the middle of our high desert, adjoining the bosque (woodlands along the river). I roomed with my younger daughter who is an EA at our school, met new staff, and shared a lot of interesting approaches and insights to teaching. I wish every school was able to do something like this. It could transform morale, and that has to positively impact students.

LOL. Any chocolate is most appreciated. ;-) Right now my diet consist mainly of Swiss chocolate and Swiss cheese Antonella brought us. I'm afraid we wolfed down the German chocolate already... :-)

LOL! My diet always consists of Swiss chocolate ;-), plus lots of very healthy veggies and whole grains.

I hope you survive the tons of chocolate! ;-)

Where I come from the Schultüte is (aptly) called Zuckertüte = sugar bag because of all the sweets. They grow on sugar bag trees and are given to the first graders when the go to school for the first time. It's really sweet. ;-)
