I've never owned a pair of heels, they can give you varicose veins, and both my grandmothers had loads of those so I'm not taking any chances, not that I care, I think heels look ugly and uncomfortable :p

It depends on the heels as to whether they look ugly, though most do. But uncomfortable, YES. OMG, I do not understand the need to ruin feet by wearing uncomfortable sky high heels where you need a man to lean on and help you walk, as if you were drunk. You can't run in them if you need to, and you're not being kind to your body. I don't get it. end rant :-P

These heels weren't high by any stretch. I've had the boots for years so not like they weren't broken in or whatever. Only thing I can think was that I was dancing for a solid 4-5 hours and then the death march to/from the parking lot, plus partying after...Just not used to going all night like I used to. Apparently, neither are my feet. :-)

I used to love high heels when partying. Many are the nights I have walked home with my shoes in my hands after a night of dancing :). These days, not so often. But I still like the sight of a pair of lovely high heeled shoes.
