The Best Thing About Today...

New specs :("
Whaaaa-?!"
Yes this thief wore a white coat, forced me to roll my eyes repeatedly, puffed air into my eyeball and then made me pay him nearly £400.
Thank the lord it only happens every two years!
Think of the books I could have bought with that money.

Pretending you're a teenager again at my age? Unwise. But so worth investing an entire weekend in recovery mode. LOL

As I read your hobbling post, I had the impression, that you have had fun! ( pictures? )

Def Leppard (Joe Elliot on the left, Phil Collen on the right, and Rick Allen's drum kit in the middle), during Love Bites:

If you look in the lower left, that's the live shot with the big screen showing more detail at pic's center -- I can't believe I caught Gene when the fire was whooshing!

Blizzard of confetti at show's end. Was everywhere, like snow in your hair in the winter and thick on the floor...Gene's on the left, Paul somewhere in the middle.

This was actually taken a day or two before the concert (thereby initiating my OMFG), but in this pic, you can't see the twins too bad thanks to morning glare so...Whatever, you get the idea, LOL.

Nooooooo! Again?
Take care, Josh. And I hope you're feeling better already.

Congratulations!
Awesome pictures, Kari!
And I agree about the heels. I don't even own heels any more. Not even for job interviews. I have a pair of flats I've never worn, those will have to do!
Granted, I do have a few pairs of boots with a bit of heel, but nothing more than an inch. :-) Cause, I do have a thing for boots.

I don't own any heels, either. My feet thank me for it. :)

I've never owned a pair of heels, they can give you varicose veins, and both my grandmothers had loads of those so I'm not taking any chances, not that I care, I think heels look ugly and uncomfortable :p

It depends on the heels as to whether they look ugly, though most do. But uncomfortable, YES. OMG, I do not understand the need to ruin feet by wearing uncomfortable sky high heels where you need a man to lean on and help you walk, as if you were drunk. You can't run in them if you need to, and you're not being kind to your body. I don't get it. end rant :-P

I used to love high heels when partying. Many are the nights I have walked home with my shoes in my hands after a night of dancing :). These days, not so often. But I still like the sight of a pair of lovely high heeled shoes.

O! That sounds not good?"
Just had a melancholy afternoon. Not to worry. :)

Yes, I see. Made me laugh.

How does it work that I was in Finland a week and barely got one bite and now I'm back home only a day and have five or six itchy-bitchy ones?

Because your time in Finland was charmed? ;)

Oregano oil should keep them away, um, they don't like my blood so I've never needed to test it

Clearly, you brought them with you and now they are really upset!
