Yep. I should have taken today off. But no. Not the best b-day ever.

That sucks. Glad someone finally arrived though.

*Tacklehug* Happy Birthday, I hope it improves

You are swimming in my brainwaves, Alison :-)
Happy birthday, Jordan! I hope your day is a lovely one even though you had to work! Pamper yourself a bit in the evening, alright? Big, BIG hugs, my dear!

If you are going to get in trouble on your birthday it should at least be fun! Happy birthday.
Thanks guys, you're the best! *hugs back* after getting up from that totally awesome tackle hug. Wow. :-D
My day improved when I hung out with friends and watched Disney movies. And was able to talk to someone who might be able to eventually get me out of the hot water I'm in right now.
I did something stupid and got people mad at me. Big surprise. We weren't on great terms anyway, hence the job hunting. But right now I'm out $400 and I need to find a home for a very large piece of Sailor Moon fan art in a brand new frame. I feel like an idiot for not thinking some things through, and yet I'm tired of being treated the way I have been.
Over all, it's just not been a good week.

Whatever you did, it seemed ok to you at the time, so be kind to yourself now. And good luck with the job hunting!

I wanted sun, I have get sun. Next time I'm a little bit more specific."
I hear you.
And, please be more specific the next time you ask the weather gods for something. I'm melting here...

I wanna melt :-)
We have sun though, and will most likely stay rainless for a few weeks, FINALLY, so all is good

I never said I was... "
I did, for what concerns smileys ;-)

Yeah, I second what she said. Don't be too hard on yourself, Jordan.

I'm so happy for you, have fun!
( Do you take pictures? )"
I'll see what I can do. ;-) I'm only using my phone foe some snapshots though.

Oh, crap! I should do it as well!"
You still have time. Relaxe. :-)
Although I have a list, I'm fretting over every little thing I think I should take with me. I'm torn between packing as little as possible and being prepared for all that could possibly happen.

Hey, it's not like you guys are traveling to North Pole! ;-)
And anyways, I'll put you in the hammock the moment you'll arrive (after the 12 hour trip) so nothing can possibly happen there! :-D

This is a minor worry when you go to visit friends, you can always borrow things...
