Not bad at all, I have to say. I'm not up to that point for posting them online, but I did see it when I was picking out which ones would get posted.

Gosh, I took 400+ photos that week! I feel like I'm posting just as many, though I know I'm not. I'm trying to only post the important/nice pics that came out well.

My car broke down yesterday. This morning I was told the amount it will cost to fix it. Let's say I'm glad the plane tickets to Finland are already paid...

That sucks. I love my car, but hate that it costs so much to keep it fit and happy :)

Yes, that's exactly it. :-)

Sabine | 3041 comments You two get a firm hug from me!
I don't have a car, because I can only see with one eye, so in short I'm not so good to evaluate space between things. But I often wish I would have one, but the costs are to high for me to have it only one or three times a week on the road. Better for the other people on the road too!; )
You two are in my thoughts!

Oh no. :-(

Maybe if you'd fly here already tomorrow you wouldn't need to fix your car the whole summer... just a thought. ;-)

But really, I'm sending hugs and warm thoughts your way, Calathea. I just came home from taking the car to a mechanic who changed oil for it. The whole thing involved some computer stuff too (don't ask me what — but apparently if you change the oil you have to acknowledge it in the car's computer too... or something). I don't understand anything about these things. About the only thing I know about our car is what color it is. Aaaanyway, what I understood perfectly was that it all cost 150 euros and I thought it was surprisingly much.

Wow! That sure is a lot just for changing the oil. I hope you don't have to do this very often.

I like that thought! :-)

Ugh. We're in the same situation. DH's car is dying a slow death. It's very old and needs to be replaced, but I just hate having a car payment.

I was at the garage to retrieve my car and learned that the damage is even worse and the costs would be double what they had estimated before, so *double-ouch*
Yeah, and it most-probably means that I need a new car. It's not sensible to pay more for a repair-job than the car is worth, isn't it?
But, but... I love my car...

Double sucks! But it is probably a good idea to buy a new one. My experience is when things start to break down, it will continue, more damage and more bills. It's like the car has reached the end of its " natural life".

I know, I know... *whimpers silently* It's old enough and all but still...
