36 years is quite an accomplishment in many ways—Happy Anniversary!

That restaurant looks alluring. :-)

I have today off and the only real commitment is to take Adrien for a long walk this morning. :-)

message 12305: by Goge (new)

Goge | 641 comments I just read Seance on a Summer Night. Couldn't find the time for some uninterrupted reading until today. And I loved it! That was one great story! I couldn't find a thread for the book so I posted my love for the book here. One productive Sunday it was! Just couldn't put it down 😊. The book that is.

Hurrah for days of uninterrupted reading! I loved it too.

Antonella | 11570 comments I've just realised that after the renaming of the topic, I cannot post here something like back pain. But I can say that the best thing about today is that I already know that my lower back pain is caused by a wrong posture at the computer and not by old age ;-). And I managed to get an appointment with my usually busy physiotherapist already on Wednesday morning.

My work department got a new public desk today! We’re so excited because it’s a lot more user friendly than the cramped non-desk thing we had before. :-)

I don't think anything strikes dread in my heart as the words TAX SEASON do.

Even though I do very much like my tax person!

It rained yesterday. It snowed last night. It’s cloudy today... is there a chance of meatballs? Maybe. But the best thing is that it’s my first two days off in a row where I’m not traveling or doing anything important. Might see the Dragons 3 movie and go grocery shopping, but that’s it.

The best thing about today was a long nap with hubby and Armi The Dog. Since we came back home from our vacation two weeks ago, it’s been absloutely crazy busy at work—and at home. I needed that nap so bad.

My best thing about today was not getting my library book group kicked out of our regular space (because they changed their hours and didn't tell me!), but finding a new space within a few minutes with no problems.

And of course, the meeting itself. I do enjoy those meetings. The people who come are great!

Alison | 4756 comments There's a release date for Lord of the White Hell 5!

Master of Restless Shadows (by Ginn Hale) is set for October 6. It's Atreau's story, so it might be amusing. Definitely one of the best things about today! :)

I was planning to read the Scarlet Wolf books this year, but it’s been so long since I read the Lord of the White He’ll books, nothing was familiar except some character names I thought I should know. So, frustrated, I gave up. I need to start back at the beginning again, which is probably okay, since there’s a new book coming out. :-D so, I’m waiting until that’s out, then I’ll rereadWhite Hell, and finally get into everything that comes after those two.

TBTAT... Day Off. :-) I had no huge plans except to listen to audiobooks and punch Pride buttons. I finished Green Glass Beads and it was amazing!!

Lillian Francis (lillian_francis) | 333 comments I've completely finished with the writing/editing part of Under the Radar. My blurb and tagline is formalised. My cover reveal and release tour is organised. I can finally breathe.
I have formatting to do in time for the release date of 15th April but most of that is done as well.
Historical romances are so much more work than contemporaries but I hope I've done this justice.
And relax...

I was thinking I should re-read as well. Lord of the White Hell was one of the first queer romances I read (lucky me!) and that was a good while back. It's such an amazing series.

I don't really want to suggest a group/challenge read, seeing as those have not been popular lately, but I kind of do... lol.

I've been thinking of rereading. I haven't read the last two because its been so long. I thought it would a good challenge, too.

TBTAT is definitely not the fact that it’s Monday, and already the third day of my work week. Lol. But hopefully I’ll have time to work on my research guide for writing fiction. I’m finalizing the format, working on the Introductions for each section, adding pages for finding and starting a critique group, and then finishing the publishing and marketing pages. I added more to it over the weekend, but the end is still in sight!

This has been a really fun project! I just want to be done with it so that I can share it with the world already! But it's okay. I've been realizing over the past couple of days that there are sections I needed to include, like writing a blog. So, I'm keeping busy!
