Is it bad that I love Adrien's squeaky toys? I just ordered her Christmas toys and I'm having fun playing with them, even though I can't technically give them to her until next month. lol. I had to put them away in order to stop me from squeezing them so much!

hahahaha. I'm the same with Marlowe's toys. He has some very adorable plushies--or at least, he does until he annihilates them.

It's been pouring off and on all day.

So cozy! So very much needed!

LOL. It's an awesome excuse to get cool toys, I find. :-)

Which reminds me, does anyone have a source for Lanco (Barcelona) latex puppy toys? They are Paddy's absolute favorite. I used to get them in Kansas City, but we moved away and I think they stopped making them.

We had forgotten all about them until last year, when I found a couple when unpacking some boxes (unopened since the previous move) and gave them to him for Christmas. He loved them, but he's long since chewed out all of the squeakers.

Lanco still makes baby toys, and I bought him a few, but they're much bigger than the puppy toys, and Paddy doesn't like them as much.

He likes the little pig the best, although the elephant is OK too.

lol.

Adrien doesn't like to play with tennis balls or chase anything unless it's a treat I throw for her.

Her favorites are plushies she can throw around or her long rope toy she can chew, though she's hardly a chewer. I think she mostly just carries it around with her.

Well, my two terriers growing up were the same way. Though they didn't play with any toys at all. They weren't big chewers and didn't really play with anything else either. *shrugs* who knows.

Joyful

Even with the (frankly daunting) mountain of catch-up ahead of me, I feel so much more relaxed and, yes, joyful this year--and in particular this holiday season.

Codas.

It took all of yesterday to write two little codas--and I expect the same for today. Even so, it's so pleasurable just to write something for fun.

Going to UK tomorrow with my son to spend Christmas with daughter and her new family. Getting to hold my little grandson in my arms again is the best Christmas gift ever!

I wish all who celebrates a happy holiday! And happy days to everybody, celebrating or not!

Thanks guys!

Yeah, I'm slowly improving? It's mostly a tickle in my throat that's been making me hack up my lungs for most of the week. Took two days off work so I could cough in private. Doing better today, but not as well as I'd have liked. But hey, any improvement is better than nothing, right? And at least I can laugh at my silly self today. :-)

Oh dear. I’m sorry, if I passed it on to you! I’m home again today after waking up feeling wretched, and I’m about to try my supervisors sworn remedy of garlic milk, which is supposed to clear a cough and help you sleep, along with so many other issues. I’m trying a recipe with turmeric, pepper, honey, garlic, and milk. Cross your fingers it’s not too gross. I hope to god it puts me to sleep. I’m exhausted!

Mine was warm milk with honey. Which doesn't sound so bad, but i hated the taste of milk by itself, still do. I think someone once made a palatable version of it, but still... *shudder*
