Hours left in tax season for me. I'll be working all day tomorrow. I'm going to a fancy fundraising dinner tonight with my daughter. Hope I don't fall asleep in soup."
:-) Have you now hung up your calculator for the year?

Progress
Finally, I feel like I'm making real progress again, gaining some traction on that never-ending list of Things To Do. . :-)

Ugh. That's awful!
I always think it's strange how visceral my reaction is to things like this, so it's reassuring to see that a lot of people respond to stories in the same exact way.

There have been times I've needed/wanted to take a day off work just to get over a character death or mishap. *cough*Brandstetter*cough*

Oh, there is still plenty of work to do, all those pesky extensions. I did spend a delightful day sleeping in, savoring my Pinon Fudge coffee and READING!!

Poor Jordan. Spring will come. It was snowing here round Easter."
lol, I'm starting to not believe it.
But it's ok. It's inspiring me for the world building I'm doing for a "new-ish" project. :-)

Or author death. Well, really, one author (Brian Jacques) I'd grown up really enjoying, and I'd gotten to meet him three times, considering he was from Liverpool, that's pretty amazing. And I'd gotten to hear him sing at a folk concert, which was pretty darn awesome.
And Brandstetter hit me really hard. I think those two were the hardest. I found out about Brian Jacques' death at work, which was a bit hard. And Dave, well, after spending an entire year getting to know him, that ending was rough. I don't think I've ever cried so hard or so long for a character... except for a few here and there, usually animal deaths.
Apparently I'm just a very emotional person. lol.

Emotions!
Just finished watching Person of Interest season three, and OMG, ALL THE FEELS. I think this show just might be the end of me when I get to the end of the last season.

Interview!!!
Today at 2pm. Trying not to think about it. But also, hating having to wear this suit jacket when it's actually really warm and stuffy in here! Normally I complain that I'm too cold. Not today. lol.

I hope I did ok. That's all I can say for right now. I was reminded of how long the process takes, so I might not know for a very long time if I got the job or not. Hopefully, they'll tell me if they are going to offer it to me sooner rather than later. But, we'll see.
Right now, I just want to get out of this suit jacket, throw on a t-shirt, sweats and a hoodie and get comfortable with my dog in front of the TV. lol.

I'm not sure if today's word should be "Monday" or "plotting". lol.
It's cold, grey, and rainy outside. I'm exhausted for some reason. I just want to be curled up in bed under all my warm covers alternately napping and plotting both this original fic sci-fi novel and this piece of fanfic, that requires a bit of a murder mystery I have yet to fully figure out. How can I get my main characters into trouble? Who wants who dead and why? Big questions. The even bigger question right now is... why am I at work, seemingly freezing to death. and tired?!?!

Coz you got all prepped and prepared for battle and now it's over, so there's always a bit of let down. :-) Here's to a successful outcome.

Murder.
In the apartment complex two doors down from me last night. I was up. I even walked Adrien. Didn’t see anything or hear anything. But two men were pronounced dead at the hospital. Cops were only a block away, even though they arrived too late. They also don’t know what happened yet.

Productivity
Took a half day off today--detailed in my Five Things I Love post--and have had a super productive afternoon. Maybe because I allowed myself that late start?
