I'm sorry for your loss, dear Anne. Here too people keep dying, even though it is like it is, it is difficult to accept.

I'd like to live a better life as a tribute to the people gone, especially those gone too early.

Also moved.

verb (used with object), moved, moving.

to change from one place or position to another.

to set or keep in motion.

to prompt, actuate, or impel to some action

to arouse or excite the feelings or passions of; affect with emotion

They all seem to be true in this case

I appreciate that your price range is low. Others have done things like sell promotional items that are just too expensive, I think. When it costs $70 for two shirts plus shipping, that's too much for me.

Good! That's what I'm aiming for. I'm trying to make it affordable and fun -- yes, I'm asking for patronage for my work, but I want to give extras that might really be enjoyed by a lot of readers. Certainly to readers who love the stories and characters. To me, these are the most likely to want to support my writing.

If a thousand people can be persuaded to give you a dollar, that's nearly a thousand dollars (minus the transaction fees and so forth). So every single donation really matters.

Yes. We listed it on the news page of my website and I'm blogging on it tomorrow. Because I was initially resistant to the idea, I want to explain what brought about my own change of heart.

Thank you. I guess as you reach a somewhat mature age like me, it is natural that people around me get sick and die. It’s natural, a part of life, but I don’t like it.

This same thought occurred to me, Anne. I used to listen to the "grown ups" talking after dinner sometimes and wonder why so much of their conversation seemed to revolve around illness and death.

Uh, because after you reach a certain age, your contemporaries and older family members become at risk.

Gone.

My brain, that is. Well, and half my dinner. I just threw out food I’d intended on eating as if I’d meant to throw it out. Cause... my brain wasn’t there. *sigh* clearly it’s time for bed... or something. The weekend, maybe?

Exercise.

Got some today. I mean, real exercise. I’m not dead yet, but my legs are wobbly. Lol. There’s something about being able to swear at my tv when the woman on the dvd says we’re going to do more stuff. She can’t hear me, which is great!

Btw, do you know of this: https://www.fitnessblender.com/workou...

There are tons of free workouts, and they're really nice and clear, and their search function works well for finding basically whatever you want in terms to duration, difficulty, type of exercise, etc.

I've used them a lot. I particularly like the routines "for easily bored" people, in which they don't repeat the same exercise twice in a routine. It's really encouraging, because i do get bored easily with repeats. They also have a 15min low-impact cardio that leaves you totally exhausted yet satisfied. Let me know if this is something that might work for you, and i can add a couple of links.

Oh cool. Maybe at some point I'll get into it. At the moment, I'm using an exercise ball with several dvd workouts and my simply fit board. To start with, they're good. Once I get beyond them though... we'll see what happens.

Ah! Sometimes I don't mind a boring repetitious workout because I'm mentally running dialog and so forth, but the problem is your muscles remember and eventually stop working as hard as they did when you were trying to learn the movements.

I've been watching a lot of films about magicians and magic. So fascinating! I never really thought of magic as an art form before. But it is. It's performance art. Some of it's really impressive.

Baby

Earlier this week our president Sauli Niinistö was comfortably re-elected for a second six-year term and today the presidential couple became parents to a baby boy. This is their first child together and the whole country is now going simultaneously "ooooh!" and "awwww!". :-D

Since our president was only sworn in yesterday, he really has had a busy week! LOL.

Our presidential couple already have a dog, Lennu, who pretty much steals the show wherever they go... Here's some footage to prove it: http://metro.co.uk/2017/02/23/finland... :-)

It went really well! I had them get into a discussion about what inspires them and what world-building means to them, and that took up the bulk of the time. They really got into the discussions! And then we did a little group writing exercise where groups had to come up with a place, some characters, a plot, things like that, and write a couple of paragraphs to share with the class. Their ideas were great! And I think everyone had a lot of fun, which is always my goal with my writing courses. I think you learn more if you're having fun. :-)
