Yes. Same here.

Thank you, dear. Well, I think they are all taken by me.

Oops. I'm a bit sloooow today... you mean the pictures on our living room wall? (For a moment there I thought we're talking about pictures on my FB wall... LOL.) But you actually, maybe, meant my REAL life?! :-D
Those living room pictures are all original graphic prints, except the one with skull and horse collar — that one is one of my watercolor paintings. The graphic prints are from three Finnish and two Estonian artists. I'm quite fond of them myself! :-)

Oh very nice art work!
And yes, very compact. I'd forgotten trees get packed that way. It's been a few years since I've been out to buy a real tree.
Now, my big question is, who's going to write The Christmas Tree Murders? Petri, maybe?

Well, Petri was the most eager of us to start killing that tree... :-)

We seldom have many pine needles, I suppose because we get a tree a week before Christmas… :) But then we leave it up at least until Epiphany. Maybe it's the type? We usually have piñon or blue spruce. I just took off the lights tonight. We'll take it outside tomorrow and to recycling on Thursday. Always makes me a little sad. Also a little relieved.

We had that many people show up to our new book group at the library tonight!"
That's great, congratulations!

Very good! Congratulations. :)

I've got a few books out from the library to teach myself the art of doodling, basically. I'm copying the tangle designs into my ancient sketchbook that a friend gifted me with in high school, but that I hardly ever used. Maybe later I'll buy the fancy paper squares, but also, maybe I'll just use the back of library card catalog cards, after all, I do already have several boxes of them. :-D

Wow, for a second there my eyes went really wide because I thought you were talking about New Zealand summer! And then I remembered that you must still be in US. :-)

Oh yes, I am being confusing aren't I? I am still in the snowy mountains for another two weeks. I love the snow!

We can make an exception for today, right? Happy birthday, Josh! :)

I've been writing in long hand though, which is kind of relaxing. Except...it's very hard to read my own writing. :-D

Nice! Me too! My mom has a sauna at her house and it's a nice perk when visiting. I am planning on having a good steam tonight. :)

(the hot, spicy kind, with rum in it--yum)"
Yum!"
Yum to cider without added ingredients, but you can get yours as spicy as you want ;-)

I hear you. A Swiss friend of mine living in California told me that she and her friends will wear black today.
But we shouldn’t make the mistake of thinking that because Trump was elected, now the country suddenly turned racist. It is still more or less the same country it was before the election.
We survived 8 years Reagan and 8 years George W. Bush. We should survive Trump.
I wish all of you, and the country, all the best.
Hugs
