You know that scene in
when Davey's uncle sends him up to the tower to sleep, and he opens the door to what he imagines is his room, and nearly falls out into nothingness? That's kind of what it felt like. Wow.

My work keyboard sometimes likes to start "typing" a long row of periods in random places just because. The only way to get it to stop is to restart the computer.
Mine's got something jammed under the key. I've been fussing with it, but nothing doing. I ordered a replacement keyboard, should be here Tuesday. In the meantime, I'm just...This is making me pure, Grade A nutball crazy.

If I get desperate enough, maybe tomorrow. I don't have a lot of luck snapping them back on.

I feel your pain. Our hot water heater gave up the ghost last night. And this is after replacing our leaking kitchen sink to the tune of $650 last month. Dammit. Attention home maintenance fairies: I'm broke. You can stop any time now.
