I hope it's back soon. Good you have candles, it sounds nearly romantic!

Very old fashioned, makes me feel like a character in a historical. (I was thinking historical romance but of course, no romance here) :)

Oh, dear! So not fun. Especially after notebook and Kindle run out of battery... I hope it will back asap.

Get well soon and take care of yourself. If that involves taking a break from writing, so be it.

Wishing you well and sending you virtual chicken soup and boxes of tissues

I used to enjoy when the power would go out at home. We would light candles and if it was winter we'd have the wood stove going so we had heat and could even cook on top of it or on a camp stove that worked with gas.
The year it snowed on April 1st, we lost power for several days and the neighbors were shocked when we told them we had heat in the entire house from the wood stove. :-D So much fun. It always feels like camping out. Get the board games out.... read a book...

Can anyone suggest a reputable one? My friend's trying to get her books translated, and...it's not going well.

LOL, Sabine! It's pretty much same situation here: Petri has baked buns and cinnamon rolls, and the whole house smells wonderful! :-D

Hope is definitely one of favorite words. :-)
Only "hope with exclamation mark" can top that. :-D
