Breakfast of champions...no, wait, actually it was after 3.00pm. Gin's definitely allowed after three. :)

Today my word is productive! I thought I was going to be lazy because it rained in the morning, but I ended up getting stuff done. :)

:-D I'm not sure that's the motto you should be trying out!
But I'm so happy to hear of you having a long and lovely day nothing to do but relax with Hans. I hope you're enjoying every second.

Keeping our yard green (for a desert) and saving watering in anticipation of our daughter's backyard wedding. Knock on wood.

Poor thing! Best wishes from me, or whatever you can say in such an occasion... wait, I found it: Pikaista paranemista! (although this sounds Greek ;-))

You are worrying me! What's going on over there?"
No need to worry. Just the usual work related stuff. Things I tend to worry too much about beforehand even though I shouldn't and even though it doesn't help at all to worry. And it's even stupid to worry about things like these -- work things.
Intellectually I KNOW I shouldn't worry beforehand, but too often I just can't help it. I've grown a bit better in noticing this myself during the last few years, but still... I tend to do it. *sigh*

He's currently watching some real life unsolved murder mysteries and I assume plane crash documentaries will be next. And The Jaws movie #1. After that it will all be better... That's his getting-better-curve. :-D

I send my get well wishes.
I ended up sick from work today as well, I have been fighting a cold since Southampton and woke up with fierce headaches this morning. I have taken it very easy today, tomorrow I have to go to work. I hope I might be able to have a short day at least.

Well, you know you shouldn't worry, but that is easier said than done, of course. I hope you have a relaxed evening with or without unsolved murders and killer sharks :)

Well, I think this calls for healing hugs all around! I sure hope that if you really need to go back to work tomorrow you can at least make it a shorter day.

I could recycle ''Pikaista paranemista'' (I like the sound of it ;-), but I'm too classy ;-)): God bedring, dear Anne.

I'm working late tonight, my new night schedule on Tuesdays. Adrien is going to hate me when I start coming home at 9:30 instead of 8:30 like before. But at least I'm down to one night a week instead of two. :-)
Getting used to a new job with new coworkers and a new supervisor.

I'm looking forward to hearing how it all looks when you've finally settled into your new work and your new timetable — with all those new coworkers.

Oh, that's beautiful! I think the first time i saw it clearly was when we went camping. I couldn't believe the detail that can be seen when it's pitch black for miles around. Amazing.

It's a vast and wonderful sight, and I feel both small and insignificant but at the same time like a part of that vastness. It almost gives me vertigo to gaze at it.

I just named spider plant Rake's newly independent baby plant after her. She's destined for the break room at work since I promised a coworker I'd include a plant along with his. :-)
As for work, it's going well, but I'm still getting used to a new department, new coworkers, and new patrons. I think there's been some miscommunication and forgetting of things said already within the department. But, overall, a much better experience. So far.
I'll still be working in my old department for the three voluntary Sunday's I scheduled a few months ago, but I get overtime for that and no supervisor, so it's not too bad.

I try my new motto (thank you so much, Josh) ' But why worry today about what we can worry about even more tomorrow?'
