wintercoat - I'm looking to buy one for Adrien. Must prepare early!

Now it's just a debate between colors: burgundy, purple, or green. Hmmm...

You know, it irks me how much people rely on colors to determine genders. I had someone once ask me whether Adrien was a girl or a boy and when I said girl, she replied "Oh, right, her collar and leash are purple." Um, no. I just happen to like purple. If she were a boy, she'd probably still be wearing purple!

I have missed you all so much. I am happy, that you have had fun and that special Fanyon - feeling, but to be truthful, I was very sad and disappointed, too.

It's Freddie Mercury's birthday today, also Hans and I will have a nice dinner in a nice restaurant to celebrate Freddie's 70th birthday.
We should drink champagne, we will see :-).

There was a tribute show on the radio when I drove back home from the airport. They played all the well known and several not so widely songs. I might have been singing along...

I think of purple as a royal color, not a "girl" color. I'd have asked, Oh, she's of royal birth? :-D

It was a momentary feeling that passed quickly.

Still, it's a cool sounding word to a foreigner ear.

New Zealand. Beautiful sunny blue sky spring day. I sat out on the deck and had bare feet for the first time and drank gin in the sun. Perfect Saturday afternoon. :)

May I ask in what part of the world you are, Phoebe? Our group is pretty widespread, geographically. :)

Kidlings is my word.

I had the whole gang over for grilled steak and scampi last night. Green salad (which they mostly ignored) and garlic bread. Chocolate cake or rainbow sherbet for dessert (naturally two opted for both -- which makes my taste buds cringe to consider) :-D

Probably their final night swim of the season...and then they sat out talking for a couple of hours in the spa. I love listening to the tenor of the voices late at night. So happy and relaxed and completely without self-consciousness.

Yes, we had a lovely time together as usual, thank you. She is also a translator, so we tend to talk about language matters and it is great to have an exchange which is not only via mail or phone.

If I come back from England my house looks just the same. When I come home from Italy it looks warmer, no matter the season, because tile floors are typical there, and I'm used to wooden floors.
