I was invited to apply for a new job last night based on my abilities and the fact that I would likely get along well with the other people in the department. So, this weekend I'm polishing my resume and writing the dreaded cover letter. I'm super excited though!

Thanks guys! It sounds like it will be mostly dealing with fiction and readers advisory, which is my favorite part of the job! So, I'm hoping that's true. It'll be a lot of ordering books for the adult collections, creating book lists, perhaps teaching workshops on using the catalog and other things. All stuff I can do and like doing! I'm crossing my fingers that it doesn't involve surprises that I might not like. And that I can ace the interview process.
