Ten years ago I went to a talk by Chris Baty, founder of National Novel Writing Month. That one event changed my life in so many ways! I was just thinking about it this morning as I have a poster for the event framed on my wall.
Adopting a greyhound, I can already tell, will do the same thing! There are so many events for grey owners to go to, so many things to do, people to meet. It's just one more way of getting me out of my shell and giving me more friends!

When I was in high school, or maybe middle school, we had a career day. A potter came to talk about how she made things from clay to sell. I ended up getting lessons from her for a while, and that was a great experience! One-on-one teaching.
You might have fun finding a potter near you who could teach you some things. :-)

Tomorrow I look at dogs. They have a new sweetie named Secret... I'm hoping I can meet her tomorrow. :-D The look in her eyes says "I'm an old friend" in another picture, her eyes say "Alright, what's going on here?" lol. And her ears stick up. :-)
