I hope all goes well!

Oh, this sounds like a lot of fun! Enjoy your trip, KC. And may there be perfect, cute espresso cups waiting for you in Ottawa. :-)

Oh noes. :-(
Lots of hugs coming your way, Judy.

Sorry to hear that, I hope everything turns out well in the end.

Greetings from train! They have better Wi-Fi connection here than I have at home. Amazing."

Ooh, fun! Have a great weekend. Weddings are fun. I hope you come home with suitably spectacular espresso cups! :)

Oh dear, Judy. I hope it all comes out alright. Hugs.

Sigh. Hang in there, Idamus. The countdown is on for the next election. I have shed tears over election results before.

We lost 89 to 90 mandates, so freaking close.
This time our loss is different, DF, who are extremely hateful towards muslims, is now the second largest party and they were bad enough before.

Enjoy! We used to go there twice a year for tango festivals. I love the art museum, botanical gardens, and eating at Le Central where the specialty is moules et frites...."
That restaurant looks really good. We went to the butterfly pavilion last time we were here.

I share your pain. It happened to using the UK earlier this year. I'm afraid I have no advice on how to deal with it -- we've never recovered from the years of Thatcher's government, let alone this lot.

Honestly, I think, after hiring fantastic movers the last time I moved about five years ago, it's going to be a piece of cake this time.
I'm signing the lease on Monday, I've already scheduled the movers. I just have to wait for the painter to get back to me about staining my bookcases before I move.

Thanks for all your good wishes.
Well, now I know why I was feeling crummy. Infection lanced and drained *OUCH--yes, I'm yelling*. Given kick-ass antibiotics and scheduled f/u appt. to remove drain. Glad I caught it in time. It was located scary close to lymph nodes. I would have been totally fucked. Yep, cursing again, but on the mend.

Oh, Jordan, I'm so happy for you. Sounds like you've got your ducks in a row. *lame, but I'm in a haze*

No kidding. It was a hot drive home.
So sorry, I've been busy at work and at home. Sunday morning I dreamed I had to give several high school classes a tour of a mansion I'd never even been in before. I couldn't even find the main staircase, and had the first class climb in through a window. All I could think was that I hadn't been trained for the job and my boss and the classes would only see a failure. This nightmare went on for about two hours! Awful stuff!
So today's word is very complicated:

So, so good and some not so good stuff going on.
