Ouch. Hope at least you were breaking in some new shoes?"
*lol* Yes. I didn't think they would cause trouble but it's a bit ouchy. I wore them for work, maybe that was a bit too ambitioned for the first try. ;)
And then there is that other new pair...

Vacation
Not mine, yours. I am loving reading about everyone's trips. Even Susinok's work-related trip sounds like so much fun. It's very inspiring.

That's worse somehow. I would be very upset if they did that.
Now i'm trying to be very efficient and think fast between their bouts of drilling, lol, ughhh.

Why? I mean, why now? We barely had any during winter... wth??"
Today in 6 hours I went from snow in Switzerland to advanced spring in Italy. I hope the good weather stays.

A person of my family is dying of cancer. It will be the third death in my surrounding in the span of six months. I wasn't particularly close to them, but... I feel sad, and old. The youngest was 44. It's too young.

Sorry to hear that... Hugs.

I'm sorry to hear this. It true that such deaths affects one, independently from the closeness to the person...
KC- try working in a granite building that has all three floors being renovated below you. There have been times where conversations have been paused due to drilling and demolition. Lol, I'm so glad for four days away from all that this weekend!
