The Best Thing About Today...
Saturday!
Just saying that name, and knowing I don't have to work today, makes me think back to the meaning of it, from when I was a kid. Cartoons in the morning and fun with friends in the afternoon. Fun. No work. Lol. It feels nice.
I do have to clean the kitchen, but otherwise, it's all fun today!

So popular in the 70's and 80's. And kind of sobering for the writers when they met with the market in the 90's.

Cool, same here, 20 years ago, so it's mostly forgotten.

Oh, thank you. Being a political person I knew the term, but I didn't know the literal meaning.
The first time we went to the Czechoslovakia, end of 1987, The Lord of the Rings was forbidden and our friends were copying it with a typewriter and carbon paper.

Ah, don't be too modest, my dear! It sounds really cool when you speak Russian! I remember making you say things in Russian last summer just because you pronounced it all so well and it sounded beautiful. :-)

It really sounds nice. But... I could have read anything to you without me knowing what I was reading... The cool thing about Russian is: pronounciation isn't anywhere as difficult to guess as in English. ;)

I lived in Oslo for a while before 'college' and it was in my last year, so 1995, I only took 1 of 2 years as I only needed the hours to get student benefits ;-)

If I recall correctly, the only other subject I could fit in was ancient philosophy *yawn*

Noes! Can somebody hold your hand?"
:) Just feeling overwhelmed at work. I need to take a deep breath and push through.
