I agree with Jo, Eva. That's a very long wait. By the time you get the book, if you do, if no one doesn't keeps it. You could have saved your money and brought the book or even the movie.

By the time you get the book the movie will be out on DVD!!! I hate when libraries have that long a wait on books I REALLY want to read! Thankfully I read The Time Traveler's Wife before anyone knew it was going to be a movie. lol
Finished [Garden Spells:] and loved it!Now listening to [Jade of Thrones:] Temeraire bk 2, and reading [Madam, Will You Talk:] by Mary Stewart ( I like to go back to the old ones every once in a while!)
Well I had started Dead until dark, but then I got blood promise, so I put DUD on hold. Finished BP the other night, loved it!
And I am not going to continue reading DUD!
I have bought The Time Traveler's Wife (because the library wait was too long). I will be starting that once I've finished The Colour of Magic, which is hilarious. I love Terry Pratchett.
I finished Lover Awakened by J B Ward and am interupting my Ward read to read Patricia Briggs' Hunting Ground.
Shutter Island - Dennis Lehane A coworker recommended it to me. Apparently it's soon to be released as a movie.
The first three-quarters of the book were pretty interesting, but the in the last quarter it turns into one of those pull the rug out from under you books.
I finished "Angel's Blood", and I LOVED it!
It was one of the best books I read all year! I loved reading about archangels, because it was so different! Even my husband wants to read it after my praises! :)
I am finally starting on Blood Promise by Richelle Mead! :)

Read and finished Bone Crossed. I freakin' love Mercy! I am now back into Uglies and really enjoying it.
I bought Jayne castle's Obsidian Prey as soon as it came out, but forgot I hadn't read the two before it (Silver Master and Dark Light) so I'm catching up!
I am on p385 of Blood Promise by Richelle Mead. It is so depressing. It's good, but depressing. Does it stop being depressing anytime soon??? I REALLY hope it does! :(
I finished Hunting Ground by Patricia Briggs and am moving on to the fourth J. R. Ward Brotherhood book.
I'm going to be starting Erin McCarthy's Bit the Jackpot (Vegas Vampires #2). I love her books, but this will be the first book in her Vegas Vampire series that I have read. Dark Lover also came in at the library. I can't wait to start that one, too!
Warning, Anne - The Vegas Vampire books build on each other! Each book stars a different couple, but there is definitely on going plots and info that make them better if read in order.
Shoot! My library doesn't have the first book in the series! Oh well, I'll read the rest of them in order. Thanks for the heads-up Melissa.
I am reading Run for Your Life by James Patterson. It is REALLY good. I started it last night when I couldnt sleep and I am already almost halfway through it.
I am reading "It's not about the Bike" by Lance Armstrong. I'm a very slow reader compared to eveyone else on here!
Finished Uglies. Pretty good book. Anxious to read what happens.I am not sure what I'm starting when I get home from work tonight. MAYBE Blood and Chocolate but not positive yet.

I finished and liked Bit the Jackpot. Starting Cry Wolf (hopefully) sometime today.Ivete, don't feel bad! I have been reading this book about George Washington for at least 3 months! I finally started keeping it in my bathroom, so that when I'm "trapped" in there I'll be forced to read a few pages. Sad but true.
Finished the Lance Armstrong book last night. Going to start "The Thorn Birds" tonight. I loved the T.V. series years ago, so looking forward to reading the book.

lol not sad at all...I do that too!
Okay so after hearing so many different things about Blood and Chocolate so I decided not to read it....yet. I will recheck it out when there are fewer in my library bag that I KNOW I want to read.I started The Strain late last night....already a little freaky. Is it scary? I need scary.
I read The Thorn Birds when I was around 13. Don't know if it really was crap or I was just too young for it. Maybe I would like it now. Let me know what you think about it when you're done.
Finished The Horse and His Boy. It was a nice but predictable. Now moving onto Space Opera. Short stories are a nice break.
Jo wrote: "I guess its kind of scary but more creepy than anything. Also you have to bear in mind that its a trilogy or the ending will be disappointing "Thanks Jo! Creepy is good too. I will add the other two to my library list.
The Book of Destiny Unlocking the Secrets of the Ancient Mayans and the Prophecy of 2012 - Carlos Barriosand
Assassin's Apprentice - Robin Hobb (on Kindle)
Jo wrote: "I finished Peeps so now i am reading The Bell Jar "How did you like Peeps? It's on my to-read list, but I can't make up my mind about when to read it.
