Has anyone else read this series?
It is actually my favorite Vampire series! I can't wait for the next one to come out...I am dying here!
Ps. Dimitri is completely hot!

I am personally thinking that Adrian or Lissa will save Dimitri with their gift. So he'll be shadow kissed or something...

There are way too many options open for BP. VA is also my favourite vampire series.
There are so many little details that could help, and take the book into a whole new direction.

I saw it, but I am trying not to read it because it'll make the next month feel even longer. LOL I might re-read the series though...My hubby is FINALLY going to read the 3rd book in the series! :)

lol i couldn't do thattt. =) i've read the series way to many times to count and it never gets boring so you should definitely re-read it !

He wasn't crazy about the first two, but I think he'll end up loving the third. So far, he seems to be enjoying it. LOL He wants to try making meatloaf wrapped in bacon after reading about Christian cooking it that way. LOL

I re-read the 2nd one right before the 3rd book came out, and still loved it. :) I can't wait for the 4th! But then I am going to have to wait until April for the 5th!!!! I hate waiting for books to come out. :(

It's a YA series, but Richelle Mead has some adult series that are supposed to be really good too. I haven't gotten around to reading them yet. :(

Have you tried Christine Feehan's Carpathian series? Some of those books get pretty steamy...
or
Charlaine Harris's sookie stackhouse series?

I just started the 3rd book in the Frost series. I am not sure if I need a PNR break or not. I tend to like my vampires a little on the steamy side. LOL If there is such a thing as a "steamy" vampire.

I like the adult "steamy" vamps, and I also like the YA sweet ones...It just depends on my mood at the time. :)

Might be a good idea. If you force yourself to read it when you're not really in the mood...you probably won't enjoy it.

The VA series is YA, but there are plenty of references and a makeout scene here or there, LOL. No hanky panky though.

If so I REALLY need to get CABLE!!!
I'm only going to be starting book 3 when I finish the two I'm reading now but it's FANTASTIC so far.
If it is turned into a series I hope they don't screw it up they way they've done sooo many other books-turned-series/movies.

No, it's just a rumor going around. :(
A lot of people are getting it confused with Vampire Diaries, which is airing on the CW in September...
I have Richelle Mead on my friends list-Facebook...people were asking her the same thing the other day. Sadly, not happening...yet.

Lol. I hate waiting too, especailly when it is a much loved series. But April the 5th is eight days before my birthday [april 13th:] so it looks like I will be having an early birthday present!

I just finished Blood Promise...and it's so sad :'( I wanted to cry when Rose got that last note from ~*~*~*~
And as for Dimitri, I still love him no matter what

I did cry in BP. A lot. when the book hit about half way I just started crying. The monologue in this book was heartbreaking for me-literally!
I agree, I am still all for Dimitri. No matter what happens. But if she cant be with Dimitri, it should be Adrian.

I wanted to cry at the bridge scene, because of Dimitri's words. The note made me want to cry too!

I love Adrian, but I want him to end up with someone else. I will HATE the series if she ends up with someone other than Dimitri. :(

Agh! I just finished Blood Promise a few days ago and it's driving me crazy the next book isn't out until April. This is why even if I'm really exited about a series I'll wait to read it until it has a few books out so the suspense doesn't kill me. I did on this series and it didn't help one bit.
