Am I the only one who realized how the Arena worked?

Am I the only one that that kinda figured out that the arena was a clock? I've talked to other people and they said they never saw it coming.

I didn't, I just figured each piece started at random. It didn't occur to me that it could be a clock which should have been pretty obvious... Lol

It was pretty obvious, especially after he showed her the watch, it was easy to see that something fishy was going on.

Maybe I'm really slow or maybe I was reading it too fast just because I know nothing good comes from second parts and I already had Book Number 3 waiting in my Kindle, but I didn't see it coming. I mean, I knew from Book 1 that the elements of the arena were manipulated by the Capitol, as a measure to make sure the participants get together and kill each other sooner or later. So, making the arena a predictive clock that the participants can figure out and use to avoid danger (Oh! Awful monkeys at 3 o'clock, better stay away from that area at that time and live happily ever after!) is actually a step back comparing it to the first Hunger Games.
I was expecting the Capitol to be even meaner, not cooler. Unless the clock was set up by the double agent and nobody else realized it was an advantage for the tributes.

The goal was for Katniss and Pita to survive. The head game-maker was working with district 13, so he made it possible for them to get out.

I guess I expected the Capitol to find out if the maker set up an arena that could help them survive... but probably a bunch of people only concerned about looking good and sutffing themselves at parties are not that brilliant after all.

It was kind of obvious once Plutarch showed her the watch. Something was going on. But I read the book too fast, wanting to know what was going to happen, and I kind of missed it.
But I suspected something fishy was going on.
And when it was revealed I thought: "Oh! So that was what she showed her the watch for! So he knew she was going to be a tribute again since the beggining?!"

But it turned out he didn´t. "I was trying to help you out. As a mentor."

So I´m just really slow. OR read too fast.

I figured it out pretty quick.
When he shows the golden clock, I started having serious doubts. Either its a clue of what is going to happen, or a warning.
When katniss heard the lightning I knew immediately. The fog and monkeys, "Tick Tock" confirmed it as well.

My friend told me that "The 75th Hunger Games arena is a clock! Isn't that awful?!?" But, I didn't understand what she was saying when she told me til' I actually read the book XD I can't remember if I realized as I was reading or not.

I figured it out pretty quick. I don't think I ever thought "it's a clock!" But I figured the sections only went off one at a time, around the circle.
