I am going to start reading
by
James Lee BurkeI had planned to read the series in order and Heaven's Prisoners would have been next but I had a hold request on for this book and it was available. It is only one of two books in Kindle format available at my library.
Starting
by
Lee ChildThis is the fourth book in the Jack Reacher series. I have read most of the books in the series but have not had a chance to read this one until now.
I am currently reading a book on a religion and it's deep in getting into its false doctrines but it's too much at times and I need something else to balance it. I also want to review it for a publication at my church.

by
Louise Penny.I saw a lot of good reviews. First time reading anything by this author.
Has anyone read any of the Agatha Rasin series? I`ve never tried one but know they are really popular.
I've read all of the Agatha Raisin books. I really enjoy that series. She is quite a character!I had too much going on to join in the group read this month, but I'm hoping to join in October. :)
I'm currently reading Crooked House- about halfway through it.I'm also nearly finished The Adventures Of Sherlock Holmes- Highly recommended, especially if you watch the films as well (starring Jeremy Brett) Really great classic reads. They are short stories so would be good for a holiday read. Full of Escapades and danger, twists and turns.
Have a good holiday Lauren! And Happy Reading!
Currently reading "Morning Noon and Night" by Sidney Sheldon and loving it so far. Earlier today i accomplished reading "Sharp Objects" & it was a good read.
Hi everyone,I'm currently reading ABC Murders- I'm on the very final chapters!!!
Like always, a brilliant read!
Although I'm kinda having a year of Christie, where I aim to read at least all the Poirot series, I'm always interested in new authors. I'm so used to Christie and her standard of writing but I'd love to discover new books- which would you guys recommend for a fan of Christie. I preferably prefer Murder Mysteries, Cosy Mysteries, etc.
Would love to hear what you'd suggest:) Thanks
Hannah, have you tried the Maisie Dobbs books by Jacqueline Winspear? They are historical mysteries. You might like them!

Hi,I'm currently reading a 'cosy mystery' called The Lake District Murder by Jon Bude (pseudonym of Ernest Elmore) It's part of the British Crime Classics Series. An interesting classic mystery set in the stunning surroundings of a small cosy village in the Lake District.
A good no-nosense classic old-fashioned charming novel written in the 1930's and has recently been republished. Never heard of the author until now but I'm liking his style and I think he deserves to be better known. This novel is a real hidden gem!
If your a fan of classics, the countryside, cosy mysteries and Agatha Christie, I would recommend this book to you. Will be looking out for the others in the series soon!
Happy Reading Everyone! :)
Hi,Would anyone recommend the book- Into The Water by Pula Hawkins?? I have seen it advertised a lot lately, as its just been released, however, there have been mixed reviews on it and plus its a psychological thriller, which I'm not sure whether I would like or not. Being a fan of murder mysteries and Christie would anyone recommend this book to me?? I quite like the sound of it but would love a second opinion. As long as its not too scary or anything I think I would enjoy it but would be interested to hear your thoughts on it!
Thanks! :)
I am reading Into The Water right now and to be honest I'm not enjoying it at all. It's depressing and confusing. It's told from so many different characters' perspectives, I am having trouble keeping track of who is who, and none of the characters are very likeable. That's just my take on it.

Thanks for leaving your thoughts on the book, It's always great to have a second opinion! What about her other book- The Girl On the Train?? Would you recommend it or not? Also, I'm currently looking for some new authors to try in the murder mystery/crime etc. genre- do you have any recommendations? Would be much appreciated, thanks:)
I liked Girl On The Train. I think the difference between the two is that with Girl On The Train, I really wanted to know what happened and with Into The Water I really don't care that much about how it all ends. I'm still going to finish it though.Have you read any of Ruth Ware's books? I guess she's only written two so far but both were very good. I also really liked The Widow by Fiona Barton, Under the Harrow by Flynn Berry and You Will Know Me by Megan Abbott.
