Quit halfway through. How does it end?

I would have liked to have finished it but it was just way too long - I needed to move on already.

Anyway, can someone please tell me how it ends? Is Darcy the kid's father? What's up with Jane and Bingley? Anything else I should know about?

Why stop? It gets better. The end was so good, I had to pick up the next.... it's a trilogy. I loved them all! I was sad to see it end!

It was just taking me too long to read and the story was not progressing fast enough.

I agree, it started out really slow. But it picked up. The sequels were much more rapid.

I decided to give it another chance but in audio form. What are the sequels about?

I will do my best to illustrate the main points as I remember them without giving too much away.....
It was all very "whirlwind" to me and I LOVED EVERY SECOND!
FYI: There was less focus on sex in the sequels, if anyone was offended. Mind you, there was more description in the lives of Wickham and prostitutes, but sexual encounters, for the most part, are much less described.

Well, they each still follow the whole deal with the aunt versus Lizzy bearing children. Lots of plans in place, regardless of any circumstances....

I honestly cannot tell you which book did which... I read them so long ago, and so fast.

But one was more about Lydia's idiotic ways, and Wickham and his dastardly deeds, ploys, and plots to get back at the Darcy clan and the scandals that ensue. (VERY detailed and intricate this time, mind you!) The continuation of the young boy who we believed related to the Darcy's and worked there for a time....(cannot remember his name, sorry)
Then there was the "coming of age" of Lady Georgiana and her own manipulations put in place.

And somewhere mixed in with the two were Mr. Darcy and Georgiana going off to the war in France to save Colonel Fitzwilliam Darcy - and it had a sort of "Gone with the Wind" feel to it.

Anne Debourgh has a baby, meanwhile Lizzy loses hers to illness. The Bingley's get EACH of themselves in a right good mess! A past lover returns and fights dirty for the attentions of Mr. Darcy.

Really? It has three books?? I didn't know, what are the other two books?
I loved the first one, so I cant believe there are two more :)

I turned the last page of the last book and was like.... "Ooooh.... there's no more...."
Which is, of course, NOT me saying it didn't resolve the series. It wrapped it all in a nice little package. I was just sad the story was ended!
